Politics / Re: Gadaffi Again, Calls For Nigeria’s Split : Along Ethnic Lines by ODIBABA1: 4:07pm On Apr 02, 2010
No, they are not from Igbo land! The power brokers in Nigeria made sure they only empower shenanigans and idiots from Igbo land to power to make it look like Igbo is involved. NdiIgbo abhors imposed leadership, we know the right people in our communities who can deliver quality leadership and provide the necessary atmosphere for development and progress; Nigeria is our only stumbling block. We do not need Nigeria to make progress, we are capable.

Addressing Igbo as Ibo is neither grammatical nor knowledge contest, its pure mischief. For your information, and for future reference; NdiIgbo are called and addressed as Igbo.
Your religion is your business, you may be Shango or Amadioha worshiper, and it’s your cup of tea.
Yes, NdiIgbo are in the forefront of dividing Nigeria because who fells it knows it! Nigeria is antinomy to NdiIgbo. We have had enough, we obtained the independence, we fought for survival, we retreated, and we believed in Nigeria, we gave our all! What we get back is killings, lootings, unemployment, mass illiteracy, violence, name them. We owe our future generation one thing, separation from Nigeria. This we most achieve!

niajaFrank did you say your mother is Igbo and you don't know how to write or spell Igbo,  rather you kept addressing your mother's kinsmen with disdain and insult characteristic of disgruntled Yoruba. It's either you're ignorant or simply mischievous trying to achieve perhaps a determined aim.
Having said this, nobody is looking for ethnic pure State; if anyone does, count NdiIgbo out. Since you have you're own family, you most have the capacity to determine where you want to belong and the future you want to pursue, it's all up to you. The compass is in your hand, make your choice and leave us out of your predicament to move ahead from dead contrived society

Who posted that picture? Why? Gaddaffi may sleep with the devil in his bedroom, I don’t give a hood!!!! The truth is whether you like it or not, Nigeria as presently constituted most split. It's either in peace or in pieces as the case may be. If it takes a man like Gaddaffi to tell your ruthless but senseless idiots you call leaders the naked truth, so be it. One thing is sure; Nigeria will break up in peace or burn to aches. Keep playing ostrich until your backyard turn to fire!

Kodewrita,

I agree with you some how. Nevertheless, I am in total affirmation with ONLYTRUTH. These issues are things a sovereign national conference will take care of. All the components that make up Nigeria may agree to share revenue from the country's natural resources. Say, from twenty to thirty year, this can only happen as a result of  round table discussion; that is if the beneficial hawks will ever let it happen. I don't see any wrong with that. In a situation Nigeria is partitioned, I will not hope to see any part of what consist of Nigeria today go backward in the future, that will not be the idea. It is in the interest of all that progress is made in all parts in other to reduce tension. However, any region that prefers not to make progress may be left behind. We may as well retain the name Nigeria, nothing is bad with that so far each region has the right to determine who governs them, their system of education and their own speed of general development; in short, self determining is the keyword if we are afraid of the word 'independence'. A functional federation is good for Nigeria, the problems is those bunch of idiots that perceive one part of the country as conquered people and see the Country's ruler ship as war booty that most be maintained by all means even at the detriment of their own people. That was and is still the reason an old man like Obasanjo who was at the brink of death, if not for the mercy of GOD and good will of men that loves Nigeria who brought him out of jail and set him up to the presidential seat; even with mostly the collaboration of NdiIgbo. But then he decided he has unfinished business with NdiIgbo. The level of hostility Obasanjo demonstrated to the Igbo nation is clear evidence there is no business of a united Nigeria. The hostility as consequence enslaved the rest of the Nigeria.  A cabal of thieves and looters was RAISED as never before; also, guaranteed leprous hands in governance. This cabal has total disregard to the civil population of the whole country.
If one part of the body is sick, the whole body is sick
I agree with Ghadaffi that Nigeria needs to be partitioned or, at least confederated, let each group rule themselves so no one will have the opportunity to stir up ethnic sentiment again or hide under the clout of we against them to loot a whole country's treasurer. Progress will be made if we go apart for a while. If I can invest in Ghana, I can as well invest in an Odua State so far the safety of my property is guaranteed.

Kodewrita,

Honestly you captured my attention by your contribution. However, I most remind you that Biafrans infact lost everything by 1970, even not enough of the collateral damage Awolowo, then Nigerian finance minister reduced every Igbo man savings in Nigerian and Biafran banks to 20 pounds irrespective of how much they owns, the rest was left for imagination. NdiIgbo are already used to wanton destruction and lootings of their properties on many parts of Nigeria even during our perceived peace time like now. Nothing can be loosed excerpt to bring situation to a desirable balance. let me confess that I will be a very mad man to invest my money in any other part of Nigeria excerpt Igbo land, even Igbo land will be a second though; we have stable places close home to invest, like Ghana, Benin Republic etc. What I am saying is he who is down fears no fall!
Let’s divide Nigeria and pave way of stability for our future generations.

The so called Nigeria leaders are bunch of recycled imbeciles with heavy cheeks and pot bellies. They never got tired of looting the public treasure. Col Gaddaffi is hundred fold betters than any of the idiots. David Mark was the same idiot that told Nigerians telephone was not for the poor as the country's communication minister during Babangida abracadabra government; today, he is senate president. Nigeria, giant of Africa!

Nigeria is a rogue state without character. There is this family friend, a catholic nun who always argues with my wife how wonderful Nigeria was until her last visit; she lost a family member, a catholic priest to odinary infection. She could'nt believe it happened just like that, like  fairy tale! she complianed of not having ambulance and things like impassable roads and people insensitivity.  Well, my reaction was baleted smile!
The last contibutor was right, who said we should stop bein neighbours? we may even come together again as an entity, why not! Europe fought wars, get saparated and then decided and agreed to come together as a union again. We may achieve unity but only  when freedom is finally taken and each group decides of what is good for them. Self determination is the answer and solution to the  Nigeria problem.

Joy was rewarded by Obasanjo for coming from Asika family and as scorn to NdiIgbo, she has no business in the senate as she can barely win a ward election even at her home town Onitsha. Ubanese is for me a common criminal (419). The bottom line, Nigeria is coursed!
Politics / Re: Gadaffi Again, Calls For Nigeria’s Split : Along Ethnic Lines by ODIBABA1: 1:50am On Mar 30, 2010
No one is asking anybody to be part of anything, Igbo is a nation that survived for over thousand years, they will still do that. And bia nwokem! Don't bring this discussion to Igbo and Yoruba, enough of that tactic! Gaddaffi said divide Nigeria along ethnic lines and stop the senseless shedding of precious and innocent blood and I concur with him, truth is bitter!
Politics / Re: Gadaffi Again, Calls For Nigeria’s Split : Along Ethnic Lines by ODIBABA1: 1:39am On Mar 30, 2010
The fact of this matter remains Nigeria is the worst tragedy on earth. I can not count any country not better than Nigeria, none; not even Haiti nor Niger! At least these countries have minimal power supply if not steady one. In these countries, citizens are not shot indiscriminately and at random by the (police?)For less than quarter dollar neither dos citizens regarded as strangers in parts of the country. I can go on and on with out end  but only in Nigeria.

I don't ever think to stand on the same pedal with Ghadaffi, now I do! In-fact he is my hero from this day onwards. After all said and done, Nigeria will be split; it's either we chose to do that in peace or in pieces! Do you call hellfire a country? Some people most get their head checked as they have become immune to suffering and has accepted it as way of life! I reject Nigeria and the evil it represents.

How do you change Nigeria my good friend TRUEWORD? Your country is doomed from day one.  The solution is dissolving Nigeria by tribal line and each people their own way.

Nigerians are bunch of uncivilized people that thinks undeserving long titles and money are everything. They are just dam too stupid group.

@JPROSPERO you're a great.
You have spoken so well and eloquent! Yours is proving that truth is the hallmark of intellectualism.

However, NdiIgbo most stick to self determination. The home truth is Nigeria as structured today is doomed, it’s infecting designed to fail by the colonial masters. Putting politics aside, every student of contemporary African history acknowledges that a restructure of Nigeria means rejuvenation of the whole continent.

Nigeria most be restructured in a manner that will be beneficial, not only for it's citizens but as an articulated plan for African renaissance. A lose federation, or even confederation as previously agreed by the erstwhile leaders at Aburi conference before Gowon's renegade, allow each group to contrive it's pace or form of development. Determine its system of education, and application of overall governance. For example, the North might opt for monarchial as practiced in countries like Saudi Arabia or even sharia rule, I do not see any wrong in that as far as it's accepted by the majority of their people and enshrined in their constitution, and the rights of its citizens is not violated. The East might opt for republican constitution as it's self evident that the people abhor any form of imposed government. If every nation that consist of what is today Nigeria will have the right to chose, it will automatically bring in a healthy and progressive competition and pave way for eventual unification. The European Union may as well work as point of reference. I actually live in Canada, and what I find here is each region is autonomous as it's is Canadian; it's practically fiscal federation and may as well serve as a model for Nigeria's restructuring.

I hate to hear that NdiIgbo owns properties in every part of Nigeria without any guarantee of the safety of those properties, or even the life its owners in our present day Nigeria. My advice to every onye Igbo is to invest at home for your own safety. Those other Nigerians who has no dime in Igbo land are not silly if you really look at it. The truth is that they do not believe in one Nigeria, and may never believe for ever. I see no sense in developing their villages while Igbo land laid in waste with lack of real infrastructure that can galvanize and drive real economic activities. I rest my case.

Pandemonium in Jos, again *As elders halt Igbo youths' planned protest over kinsman's death
Written by Isaac Shobayo, Jos
Friday, February 19, 2010

AS peace is gradually returning to Jos, Plateau State, there was pandemonium in some parts of the city on Thursday, following the alleged killing of a businessman by some people protesting the refusal of the natives to allow them to bury one of their kinsmen at a cemetery.

There had been a stampede in Jos on Monday over a minor squabble between the Hausa and the natives at Farin-Kada area of Jos North Local Government Area of the state, following the refusal by the natives to prevent them from burying one of their kinsmen at the cemetery in the area.

Nigerian Tribune learnt that in the course of the squabble, a man identified as a welder was attacked and burnt before the intervention of the security men deployed in the area.

He was later identified to be an Igbo man, who owned a workshop within the vicinity of the incident. A complaint was said to have been lodged at Katako police station after the incident.

Piqued by the development, Igbo youths, in Jos, in the early hours of Thursday, mobilised to protest the killing and what they saw as the nonchalant attitude of the police on the matter but were prevailed upon by the elders to suspend the demonstration and give the police more time.

However, before they yielded to the plea, there had been pandemonium as people hurriedly closed their business premises fearing that the suspended protest might snowball into another crisis.

Speaking with the Nigerian Tribune, the National President of Igbo Democratic Forum, Chief Chidi Ndu, said that the killing of the deceased, who he identified as Okechukwu, was a surprise to the Igbo community in Jos, adding that the minor squabble had nothing to do with the Igbo, because it was strictly between the Hausa and the natives.

Chief Ndu said the man was accosted in his workshop and killed in a barbaric manner, adding that immediately after the incident, a complaint was lodged at Katako police station without any positive response.

He added that the man who killed the welder was identified and also reported to the police immediately, adding that to the surprise of the people, the man was neither invited for questioning nor detained.

Ndu said the Igbo elders in the state were able to prevail on their youths to shelve the protest slated for Thursday as peace-loving people and to give the police more time to carry out their investigation.

When Nigerian Tribune contacted the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Lerama, he said the command was not aware of any complaint to that effect to the police but promised to cross check with the division concerned.

The idiots posting craps here should understand that what goes round comes round. It may be cool for Yoruba stalwarts here to mock the Igbo, but guess what? Igbo remains that they are, NdiIgbo! My Yoruba friends, I wish you what you wish the Igbo in your devilish Nigeria period! Just count us out at the long run. We do not hate you; we resist your opportunistic tendencies.

For those Igbo who say they have no stomach to challenge this continues war still been waged against us. I have only one word for you; dream on with your one Nigeria! Perhaps your pipe dream may follow you to grave, that is if you're not one day wasted by Yoruba social miscreants (alaye OPC), boko haram or their grand parents maitasaine, armed and sponsored by the caliphate, NPF or the Nigerian vandal army to mention but few. Only foolish Igbo can dream of One Nigeria in the face of unclothed and well orchestrated aggression. For the true Igbo, the way forward remains self determination no matter what it takes.

As for Gowon, his confessions will never end. I was among a group of Igbo youths that met him once at a Harare church years back: he was so surprised to notice that each and every one of us was Igbo. He confessed and convulsed and will never stop! No, not until he is man enough to apologize to the Igbo for the genocidal war he waged against them instead of beating about the bush, the trauma of innocent and helpless
Igbo kwasiokor inflicted children so weak to cry will haunt him till his death as happened to Awolowo, the architect of blockade and hunger as weapon of war. .Kwashiokor will never depart from his household! While he lives, the dream of lasting peace in Nigeria will only remain a utopia! Okwu agwu!
