tnerro1: When state police is implemented, the scores will shift dramatically. Everyone go dey behave themselves. That is if state police will be implemented. It appears that the powers behind Islamisation agenda is greater than all powers in Nigeria. Implementing real state police will checkmate such agenda. Don't also forget that state police is similar to regional police that formed part of the items ojukwu demanded at Aburi accord which everyone knows how he was opposed then. |

Airlord2030: more than 3 hausas were killed.. the casualties on the Yoruba side is the guy that was stabbed that caused the escalation, and a kid that stray bullet hit from a man said to be a police man of Hausa extraction when trying to disperse the warring youths, and he has been arrested. Better o! Just making sense to me now |

So both the indigenous Yorubas and the resident Hausas had a conflict in Yoruba dominated environment and only the indigenous Yorubas were killed? How come no casualty from the Hausas or they were invisible in the fight? Can this scenario play out anywhere in northern Nigeria? Those who are championing one Nigeria without clearly defining the boundaries of each region from one another are just sacrificing their people for politics |

Christianity Etc › Re: Resign If You Can’t Fix Insecurity – Apostle Suleman Tells Tinubu by Odisweet(f): 6:28pm On Jun 06 |
emkz: It is easy to call the president to resign.
The president is commander-in-chief of the armed forces. State governors are called chief security officers of their states. State governors receive security votes. How are security votes utilised?
Southwest has Amotekun. Is Amotekun controlled by Tinubu?
Southwest has local hunters. Do they need permission from Tinubu to protect their forests?
State governors are custodians of land. Can't they protect the land under their custody?
When terrorists were running rampage in Borno, former president Jonathan met Borno elders and they demanded he withdrew soldiers from their streets. He asked them to give a guarantee that they'd ensure their states are safe. No one agreed to do it.
Now, where are our elders? In Plateau, they murder your people; you cannot defend yourselves. In Oyo, children are kidnapped back to back, the governor has not taken pro-active steps to rid his state of terrorism. In Ondo, a pastor fled and allowed his son to be taken. Bandits and terrorists have taken a fight to our doorsteps, put pressure on the governors. They are chief security officers of their states and actually receive money for that role. There is no law that stops them from hiring vigilante.
The president should take over security in states if governors cannot defend their states. Funds for security votes should not be sent again.
Finally, what is the point of keeping bandits and kidnappers for long? Quickly try them and send them to meet their ancestors. Also prosecute the sponsors. What exactly is delaying the completion of the trial of Evans the kidnapper? Is the state aware that Evans can still plan kidnap operations from his cell? Did the police ever arrest all his associates? You were too quick to reference what Jonathan tried to do in 2014 but forgetful to remember the things Tinubu said against him over insecurity, and rather than say the truth to shame evil, you are trying to sound smart by shifting the goal post to the governors who wield no serious security power of their states. A failure is a failure and should own up to his cluelessness. |

Politics › Re: Rivers APC, Wike’s Loyalists Differ On Governor’s Overtures To Tinubu by Odisweet(f): 10:54am On Aug 09, 2022 |
Komu1048: The best way to solve security is to vote Tinubu 2023. Nigerians must not do mistake of voting Obi, his victory is a win for Ipob. They will extend their madness to every part of Nigeria. U don't need to be told their is no part of Nigeria that there no Igbo man. It will be so easy for them to kill millions of Nigerian. Esp the SS n SW becox u can't even identify them unlike how we easily identify a Fulani.
Most Ipob can speak local diet of where they base, they can dress and disguise without being recognized.
Use NE as a case study, during Jonathan time. They were killing in their region but couldn't reach out to other region the president is not their kinsmen. Immediately Buhari enter we all bleed for it.
Now ipob is more deadlier than Fulani, they are educated, more strategic, more financing knows cronies n creeks. And they hate Nigerians more.
Now u want to add federal power to everything they had. I am very sure port Harcourt, Benin n Lagos will be their most hit destination.
The only answer is to vote Tinubu, he is a detribalise man. As governor he employed so much igbos and hausa into Lagos employment scheme. Go to Alausa and verify, they are now in level 14 n 15. There is no area of Lagos employment you won't find every Nigerian ably represented n he is not secretly financing any terror group. Don't dare vote Atiku, he is the number one financier of Boko Haram, he is their patron. Nawa o There's too much hate and bile in your vituperation, be careful of what you post online because they can haunt you tomorrow |

Ddeliverer007: This is a very stupid decision. Im voting for Obi but my friend, you have to better your life and destiny and you don’t do that by throwing opportunities away.
An Obi won’t do that for you.
However, Obi2023 You are saying this because of the people who you know and can influence If you can influence a great number of people in your state which of course is probably among why okowa went for this dude, you will not say this Reason, you are for Obi movement and you have informed your followers about it, how easy do think they will turn around to support another party just because you have been offered appointment? Anyone that believes in a course he's fighting cannot just be tossed around by offers who would counter his believed course; he can't continue following Peter Obi if he had accepted the offer since Okowa is also a candidate for 2023 |

ufotty2001: See let me tell you the truth. Tinubu will win this election. Me myself I don't like Tinubu I dislike him because he is too old to rule and he is coming from APC too. I even want Peter obi to win. The truth is that the coming of Peter obi only affect PDP not APC because it is PDP votes that Obi will divide. Therefore reducing the chance of PDP winning and giving more chance to APC. I stay in North. We have 2months to election campaign but grassroots in the North are yet to know Peter obi. My village that we are up to 200k ask people there who is Peter obi they don't know.. Even if you feel that either Atiku or Tinubu can win, just do your part by campaigning and voting for PO. By that, you would have satisfied your conscience. God forbid Tinubu or Atiku should win because if any of the two wins, they will constitute their cabinet with the same people in their parties who have milked this country dry, yet have nothing good to show for it. |

ElSudani: Lies.
What are the achievements of your Obi in Anambra? In terms of achievements it is a great insult to put Obi and Tinubu in the same sentence. Truth is some of you comparing Lagos with Anambra obviously don't even know that the former was once a crown colony. If someone hadn't been keeping the political offices in Lagos to himself and family circle, her resources is enough to make Lagos look like Texas, Pretoria, etc and not Anambra of yesterday in 1991. Has any of you asked why his wife has become the permanent senator of her constituency, every year going back to the Senate as if she's the only qualified woman for the office. Obi will never share state political powers to his family or cronies like that and that's how other families too can benefit from the state. Free yourself from nepotism. Late pa Awolowo, Bola Ige, Fela, etc of Goodwill would never have backed Tinubu where the likes of Obi is running. |

yMcy56: It's about half year dividends, mostly called interim Dividend that some banks and companies used to pay. These banks and companies pay dividends twice a year. So, the calculations you saw there were done in expectation of this year's interim Dividends using the interim amount paid last year as yardstick........this was to be used in positioning for this year's dividends, and more importantly, to know which one will give the best value among the four banks considered, for half year 2022.......all things being equal. Hope I answered your question. Thanks buh wanna talk more with you on it, can mail you? |
