Garnacho was subdued physically yesterday. That’s probably why his output was low. Put Pellistri on the other side- who is not up to Garnacho’s level- and you’ve shut down the whole attack.

It’s too early to give those academy boys starting positions- save Garnacho. And you have to ease them into it. Mainoo could’ve come on in the last 10 mins or so. But at the same time, you have to set the stage for the next few games. That’s why Sancho and Mattial and Rashford came on instead.

And Varane and Shaw need minutes since it’s been almost 10 days (or more) since they played a game.

Everything is not 1+1=2.

There's no way on God's earth casemiro wouldn't have started that game, his direct replacement is mainoo(on him, the jury verdict is still ongoing, forest is still a premier league team that has nothing to lose, they could target him), no replacement for bruno and wan bissaka, maybe pellistri for antony, the rest are justifiable

Eth should have rest Bruno but i think he selection seems okay. Varane have not been playing recently, McTom injured so Case definitely will start, Shaw is also back into the team after a brief time out.

I get your point but e better to secure the win by the first half then bring on fresh legs by 2nd half than to go start people wey e no trust. Also, Sancho and Martial might not be fit enough to start. I am just pissed he doesn't trust Pellestri from the start.

Antony played better in this game. He was more direct and decisive in taking on the opposition players and he made his moves early, whether it was cutting inside or going on the outside.

There is still lots of room for improvement though, especially with his finishing and decision making. The quality of the opposition also needs to be taken into consideration. We need to see him be as decisive in his actions when he faces EPL opposition.

Overall he had a decent game, though I don’t think he was man on of the match. That was Casemiro IMO.
