It's not something i'm proud of. The academic enviroment is not good for learning in most of our universities. Lecturers are also not helping. I still believe an average engineering student can have a very high cpga abroad.

Why are people even wasting time fighting the OP? So what if your course is difficult/easy to have a first class in, Does that makes it any better. In Architecture you will rarely see a graduate with first class or even 2nd class upper, They go through hell drawing drawing drawing. But they still struggle for jobs just like every other graduates, so what's the point if your course is difficult to have a first class in when your mates studying so called easier courses are more successful than you.

Complete and utter thrash...especially for engineering. Out of 1500 students who have graduated from the college of engineering in my school, not more than 20 have gotten a first class. I don't blame u sha, UI and unilag have made engineering look easy. The stress alone of engineering in my school can make one wonder if he/she is doing a master's program
