Imcool: GLORY BE TO GOD! IT'S TRULY THE LORD'S DOING AND IT'S MARVELLOUS IN MY SIGHT. I & wifey left naija via EMIRATES on thursday, 28/04 for Houston. Our flight was scheduled to take off by 8:50pm but took of by 10:30pm cuz d air conditioning unit was not working well and had to be fixed. It was 7hrs journey to Dubai so we arrived Dubai by 8:30am local time on friday 19/04. We missed our connecting flight cuz of d delay in naija and our visas were stamped on transit while our appointment was scheduled for d next day since EMIRATES only fly from Dubai to Houston once in a day. EMIRATES also offered us free transportation, free hotel accommodation, free phone call and meal tickets @MILLENIUM HOTEL- a world class hotel in Dubai. We left Dubai by 9:05 local time on saturday, 20/04 and arrived Houston by 4:30 local time on saturday, 20/04. We went thru all necessary security checks and was was admitted into d US of A. Thanks be to ALMIGHTY GOD and to all of u cuz without u, this great dream of ours wouldn't av been a reality. I'm also sorry for updating u late, i've been really down cuz of d stress and i'm recently trying to get back on my feet. AMERICA- LAND OF OPPORTUNITY, HERE COME IMCOOL!

honeydee: I had my interview in Accra Ghana this morning. Thanks to God and everyone who prayed for me. My interview was successful. My interview was somehow like a nigerian movie because it has part 1 and 2.

Part 1 was in february.The only question i was asked was what job i was doing. After that, the Female CO said i needed to get a new police report from Nigeria with my full name on it.Im half Nigerian and half Ghanaian and i stayed in nigeria up to the age of 17 so i needed a police report from there.My name on the police report i got from nigeria was shortened so she requested i do another one with my full name and also provide some id cards i used while i lived in Nigeria.

Part 2 was this morning and to God be the glory, the male CO this time did not ask me any question. he just said i should give him the new police report and show him the id cards. He asked for my passport and asked me to come back in three days for my visa.

Im grateful to everyone here. Even those ave never really interacted with because i learnt a lot from your comments. God richly bless you all.

026IX: Greetings house.....Na wa for America things o.... Just did medicals for me and family.. Only my daughter N48,400... Myself N24,000 and my wife 14,000 cos she's pregnant oo...but I met a friend there wit her daughter for canada medical and all she paid was just d consultation fee for herself and daughter.... I proceeded to Alagbon wit vex and paid 8000 for two of us even though d police asked for 10,000...... Dem give old man like Measles vaccine sha.... Myself and daughter are down wit fever.... Wife only had Tetanus shot.... Waiting and praying for a successful interview, not just for me but for everyone of us forumite in Jesus Name.....Amen
