SportsSignings Not Needed Says: David Moyes by oesnac(op): 9:10am On Sep 02, 2013
David Moyes felt there were enough positives in Manchester United's performance against Liverpool for him not to be too worried if they fail to make any signings on deadline day.

United suffered a 1-0 defeat at Anfield as Daniel Sturridge's early goal proved to be the difference between the sides.

Despite losing his unbeaten record as United manager, Moyes insisted after the final whistle that it was the best he had seen his side play since taking charge.

"I'm more than happy with the players I've got. I thought they played really well, probably the best we've played this season."
David Moyes
And while he will attempt to strengthen his squad before the transfer window slams shut on Monday, Moyes is happy with the options already at his disposal.

"I thought we played really well," Moyes told Sky Sports.

"Liverpool were resolute and made it hard for us to score. We maybe didn't quite create the best with the crossing. We got two or three opportunities in the second half and were just a little bit unfortunate that we didn't take them."

The transfer window closes at 11pm on Monday and Moyes added: "We will try and do it, but from what I saw of the players, I'm more than happy with the players I've got.

Moyes: We played well
"I thought they played really well, probably the best we've played this season."

Phil Jones had to be replaced in the first half at Liverpool after landing awkwardly, but the extent of the damage has yet to be confirmed.

Moyes said: "He went over on his ankle when he fell and we will assess how bad it is."

HealthThe Magic Onions Can Perform In Your Life by oesnac(op): 5:53pm On Aug 30, 2013
The famous chef Julia Child once remarked “I cannot imagine a world without onions.” The use of onions for food goes back at least 3,500 years, and the vegetable is one of the oldest of cultivated plants.

But the onion is more than a kitchen staple. It is a world-class superfood that has received very little fanfare, most likely because of its common position in cookery. And yet, compared with high-profile foods like pomegranates, red wine, and green tea, the onion offers superior benefits for both the prevention and treatment of many common diseases, including various kinds of cancer, coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cataracts and more. In addition, onions can act as a powerful antibiotic and are helpful in reducing food-borne illnesses caused by microbial contamination.

Onions contain extraordinarily powerful compounds that possess many health benefits. Hundreds of scientific studies published on these naturally-occurring compounds show that they are highly protective to nerves and the cardiovascular system, and that they enhance immune function, fight the growth of many types of tumors, help to promote healthy hormone function, and many more.

Red wine may be the highly touted superstar of heart protection, but an appraisal of onion suggests that it exceeds the heart-protective properties of red wine by a generous margin. Could onion in fact be the real answer to the French Paradox – the fact that a comparatively low number of French people suffer from coronary heart disease despite diets that are rich in saturated fats? It makes sense. After all, almost no French recipe fails to include onion.  Onion lowers cholesterol, inhibits hardening of the arteries, enhances elasticity of blood vessels, and helps to maintain healthy blood pressure.  You could easily claim that the onion is the unsung cardiovascular-enhancing hero that has been right under our noses all along. We smell it, but don’t give it proper respect.

Equally impressive are the hundreds of scientific citations, which pertain to the anti-cancer properties of onion. While nobody is suggesting that onion is a cancer cure per se, it certainly is a valuable adjunct therapy, and it provides almost unequalled cancer risk-reducing properties.

Surprisingly, onion demonstrates significant blood sugar-modifying properties to be a real help in the fight against both type 2 diabetes and obesity. No, onion alone won’t keep you in fine shape, but it will help. In addition to limiting your intake of fats and sugars, eating onions can get your blood sugar-and your weight-on the right track.

So here is a simple, powerful health-enhancing recommendation: Eat an onion every day. One medium-sized onion equals approximately one cup of onion when chopped. And while raw onions contain a whopping load of protective compounds, even cooked onions still weigh in heavily on the protective side.

Chop onions into salads, cook them with vegetables, fish and meats, and find as many ways to eat them as possible.

Whatever has kept onion behind the curtains, while lesser fruits and vegetables are lauded, needs to change. The humble onion, with its tear-promoting pungency, is without question one of the healthiest things you can put in your body. Eat onions, and live better.

RomanceRe: Romance Without Finance Is A Nuisance by oesnac(m): 12:38am On Aug 15, 2013
COOLDUN: You still have not made any reasonable point, sometimes people do not know that they present some reasonable things unreasonably. From your comment you made it look like all the young and poor guys made themselves like that, or are comfortable with it. No one is happy to be poor or lazy let me tell you.

You forgot to understand that 99% of poor youths in Nigeria today is purposely made by the people at the head of affairs in Nigeria. Take our young graduates for an instance, some wasted many of their youthful years to get a good education, graduated, finished their youth services, only to come out and face unemployment. Leaders of tomorrow assurances during our schooling days is now seen as fable story told by our teachers. Many years of ASUU strikes interrupted education, with many years of unemployment can make a hard working man looks like a fool and futureless slowpoke, thereby qualifying him as a poor woman chaser you quoted in your post.

I don’t agree with you that no money no romance or anything you called it, I will only agree with you on the caption of no money no flitting, because love is not supposed to be shared , so also is not supposed to be bought with money. You can marry your wife with only love, but you can marry your knife with wealth. There is difference between a WIFE and a KNIFE.

Someone said a genuine hustling, what is a genuine hustling for goodness sake? Running after the politicians? Being a thug? Or, what?

This kind of your words is one of the reasons why we are seeing over night billionaires in our society today. Because no one is ready to follow the right channel as long as it will make him to be rich and accepted in the society, The rulers and politicians are recycling themselves, while waiting for their yet unborn generations to grow and take over from where they stopped, while the youth you want be Bill Gates before they could be loved by lazy girls are roaming the streets with their certificates.

I don’t agree with you on this one, though it is your personal opinion, but it is very harmful to the society. Poor and not yet made it guys are free to love and be loved, but not to flirt around. Thank you.
@op d word is flirt instead of romance. If d op use flirt it could av been better than romance

ogugua88: True, but at the same time, I don't think a girl should chase only men with fat pockets or be discouraged by someone who isn't stable or wealthy. Today's circumstance(s) can be different tomorrow. I'd have no problem dating someone who wasn't financially stable, as long as stability is his goal and he's working towards it. Sometimes what he needs is motivation, and that motivation can be a woman.

If the guy is broke and a loafer, then pas possible.
u have said it all.... a woman of ur choice can also hell u 2 get there only if u know what u are doing.is not conpulsry to have the whole b4 u get the right woman in ur life.
