malali: Dont mention the governors. They are collecting loans far greater than their IGR. They are collecting loans to build roads. Will roads generate revenue and jobs ? Using the money to buy bulletproof exotic cars. With no fear of prosecution because they all saw what happened to Yahya Bello. Yes,we know that the subsidy removal has affected all Nigerians except a few negatively but that is the cost of transition from the fake economy of decades to what Nigeria should have done decades ago. I am not a politician,PDP,APC,LP. Or whatever party you all use in reaping Nigeria but I can tell you straight away that Tinubu's economic strategy will put Nigeria on the map of the world as one of the most stable and richest economy in the world. It will surely be the richest in Africa soonest. You can note this down somewhere. I finished university (UNILAG) in 2010,later started a private school.I know what I went through and still going through due to the economy. I am just passionate about the positivities baba Tinubu is building for Nigeria. It is a long term thing that only the discernible can see. No pain,no gain. Nigeria will be great. It must be great because we have no other nation. |

malali: Good question you have asked !! Let me tell you where the scam is....all that money we have saved from petrol and forex subsidy is now being used to service loans. Loans that are spent at entirely their discretion. Loans that are not spent on revenue generating investments.
Would you rather buy petrol at 200naira a litre and buy $1 at 400naira or you prefer to have a road leading from Lagos to Calabar ?? Choose one. From subsidy removal,Tinubu has tripled the allocations of the govs, most are executing projects right, left and centre without borrowing, most are paying their debts, the FCT is experiencing unprecedented projects,Tinubu has cleared the 7 billion dollar log,he has settled the 30 trillion naira ways and means and a whole lot of other goodies. That is prudence. Will you rather go back to borrowing $10,$20 billion dollars to pay subsidy, borrowing money to pay workers like President was doing in 2014 and servicing the debts with all your revenue? You love fake, cosmetic economy? |

Cutezt: Mac Austine Onwumere and Mrs Jane Onwumere, I know them personally too, and they have been in operation for over a decade. Never have I heard of them scamming anyone. Yes, there are allocation delays at times, but they eventually allocate. This is new to me. Even the Lagos state government gave Mrs Jane an award last year. How will a whole governor's wife honor an illegitimate business owner? I am surprised too. PWAN is clean. Maybe there is a mix up somewhere. |

tete7000: Nigeria is like a man who cleared the debt he owed Kashamu but borrows more from Sule and Shetima. Debt na debt and the Holy book says "Whoever owes is a slave to the one he owes". All debts must be cleared before any celebration can begin and no more loan should be taken whether now or in future. Make apc no kill us with lies and propaganda abeg. Have you seen a real nation that doesn't borrow? USA is the most indebted nation in the world. The main thing is to be able to pay back when due. There had never been any President of Nigeria that has cleared IMF debt. Tinubu just did it. That is prudence. If you are sad,you know what to do. |

What you just said is no different from what AI presented! Bottom-line is that Nigeria still OWES IMF which is contrary to what your paymaster WhatsApp group is graciously churning out! https://www.imf.org/external/np/fin/tad/balmov2.aspx?type=TOTALAccording to the IMF site which shows all indebted nations,Nigeria has $0 obligation to it. Which means that Tinubu has paid all IMF debt as at 6th of May,2025. If you are sad,you can do the needful. Enemy of Nigeria. |

But no country in the world can do without debt. It shouldn't be taking almost all our revenue to service and that is what Tinubu has done from more than 100 percent servicing to 68 percent. Now it will come down further. That is prudence. |

malali: • World Bank: $17.81 billion USD
Nigeria has made significant strides in reducing its IMF debt.
While its obligations to the World Bank have increased due to new loan approvals aimed at supporting various sectors.
We have paid 306 million dollars owed IMF.
But we owe World Bank close to $18 Billion dollars and we are still borrowing more....We still owe over 60 x 306 million.
We owe $5 billion dollars to China.
Stop spreading news to deceive the citizens. When you make announcements like this. Paint the whole picture.
Thats what accountability and transparency means. First thing, you agreed Nigeria has paid off all Nigeria's debt to it. Clap for Tinubu.First time in history. When he said Nigeria cleared its debt,he gave IMF website as evidence. Where is your own evidence? Or are you just sad to hear good news about Nigeria? |

The report is not debating payment but debt stock as a result of devaluation of the naira Are you educated at all? Ok,the debt increased but everything as been paid as at today and IMF is not hiding the fact that Tinubu has paid all the debt Nigeria owes IMF. Are you sad that Tinubu paid all IMF debt? |

The SW even before colonial period had Oyo Empire that expanded to Dahomey,Ghana etc. They were the richest then until date. The SE that is dragging their mouths are no where to be seen even till date when talking about wealth in relation to SW people. Just like I said previously, only Wizkid,Davido or Tiwa Savage is richer than any SE billionaire that you can think of. SW has never depended on oil, which they also have in Ondo,Lagos( and Ogun) states. Till date Ibadan has more infrastructures than the entire SE. That is wealth. |
