IBB should have been arrested on the spot for treason because he denied Nigerians their legitimate President whom they all voted for and he also took a lot of lives and destroyed a lot of businesses especially those belonging to Abiola. I am expecting some lawyers and NGOs to sue him in Nigeria and international institutions for deterrence. |

Yoruba Nollywood practitioners are also the richest. They are always grossing the highest everytime.. Even Yoruba churches and pastors are the richest in Africa and some of the richest in the world. Even their sportspeople,Universities,lawyers,doctors...in ICT,they have the highest UNICORN in Africa not even Nigeria and they are the richest. Pls,I don't see any competition in Africa even in Northern Africa. |

You won't understand its importance anyway. Yorubas especially the Igbominas from Kwara (owo ni e je) have always had that system ieven before you all came to Lagos. They just don't make noise like you do They control building material markets in Nigeria. They don't only import most building materials in Nigeria, they are the largest Nigerian manufacturers of steel products in Nigeria. |

Meanwhile, Cosmas Maduka was once assessed to be worth $500M by Forbes in 2014 and Elumelu at $700M, but I cannot recall the year. All over the world, only Forbes and Bloomberg rate billionaires in dollars. If there is an Igboman worth $1billion,they will surely rate him. If I post the videos of Ibadan here now,you will know and see why Yorubas are the richest either in Nigeria or abroad. You will never be able to see the kind of development and infrastructures in Ibadan anywhere in the entire Igboland. |

Abagworo: Truth is that no Igbo man is a billionaire. There are just so many Igbo multimillionaires in their hundreds of thousands if not millions. A millionaire is anyone worth more than 1.5 billion Naira to under 1.5 trillion Naira. Only few Igbo men are worth up to 200 billion Naira and above and that's the Tony Elumelus, Arthur Ezes, Orji Kalus, Orjiakos etc
I'm proud of being one of the multimillionaires of Igbo extraction right from my 20s Igbos do not have multimillionaires either in dollar or naira up to Yoruba and this has been generational. Yorubas have always been the richest Africans in the world. When Yoruba had more than 10 billionaires in the olden days(if you want I can post them),Igbos had only Louis Ojuku and Hausa had about 3 billionaires then. The proof that Yoruba are the richest can even be seen in comparing the 5 SE states with Ibadan city with more than 12 GRAs, numerous estates and more infrastructures than the entire Igboland. I can post the place Yoruba dominate 97% in Lagos compared to where Igbos dominate in Okota/Isolo and one will know why people say Yoruba are the richest and most successful Africans ever. Yoruba have the highest number of SMEs,so there is no lie that Igbos will lie or hide under except delusions that hold no water. |

21lucky: A growing chorus of dissenting voices is urging Southwest governors to withdraw their support for President Bola Tinubu's second term ambition. The reason is simple: Tinubu has failed Nigerians, and his administration has brought suffering to the Yoruba people, who now regret voting for him.
Critics argue that Tinubu's leadership has been marked by poor decision-making, economic stagnation, and a general sense of discontent among Nigerians. The Yoruba people, in particular, feel betrayed by Tinubu's failure to deliver on his campaign promises.
It's time for Yorubas and Southwest governors to prioritize the interests of Nigeria over tribal loyalty. Supporting Tinubu's second term ambition would be a mistake, as it would perpetuate the same failed policies that have brought Nigeria to its knees.
Instead, Nigerians should unite behind a presidential candidate from the South East or South South, who can bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the table. This would be a bold step towards a more inclusive and equitable Nigeria.
To Southwest governors and politicians, we urge you to do the right thing. Put the interests of Nigeria above tribal politics and withdraw your support for Tinubu's second term ambition. It's time for a change, and Nigerians are counting on you to make it happen. Mumu hipobian post. |

Pelicanbrief: Oyo empire indeed. How do you think so many yorubas ended up as slaves in Brazil, Cuba and the Caribbean? It was fulani and nupe that sold your weak and emasculated cowardly slave tribe into slavery.
Ponder about it for a moment and hide your head in shame. Your kabiyesi is still prostrating to an invading fulani emir who reigns supreme in your land and has gone further to ban your traditional and cultural activities, tueh tueh tueh
How can a people be so weak and shameless?
What happened to death before dishonour? They have been slaves all their life.Igala to Ijaw to being Nigerians slaves Nobody takes Igbo slaves serious. What will Nigerians' slaves say or do that goes beyond looking at his chain and cursing the day he was born? Yorubas have never been slaves to any African. We have had Hausa/Fulani who were slaves in Oyo Empire. We have had Igbos who were slaves to Igala,Ijaw,Benin/Yoruba people. There is this permanent trait of slavery/slavishness in their blood. Hausa/Fulani had the British privilege of becoming the first govt because of their perceived mumuness. Yoruba as warriors and Empire owner like Britain,China etc didn't go crawling to become slaves like the Igbos whom, though more educated, became the vassals of the Hausa/Fulani,thinking that they are mumu that they can overcome but they were suysnised like what they actually have always been. Without being in govt and because of their superiority,Yorubas (and Yorubaland) became the richest, most progressive, most developed people not only in Nigeria but the black world. Yorubas are a superior tribe not only in Nigeria but Africa and the world because they control (in the black people's world)..Music,Movies,Education, Business both in Africa and the world as blacks. They have oil, ports, custom,VAT etc which the Igbos will go extinct if Yorubas don't 'feedbottle' them for just a couple of months. All Nigerians know that Yorubas are the everlasting pillar and brainbox of Nigeria. Yoruba are a very intelligent race. They have watched Hausa/Fulani and seen that they don't run their mouths like Igbos. They have been very careful.Reason Yorubas have let them be even as slavish Igbos have tried everything foolish to make them clash. A few Yoruba have talked negatively about Hausa/Fulani but they have gotten very timid reply. Yorubas are the only people that have defeated Hausa/Fulani in politics and in wars. Yorubas control the jugular of the economy of Nigeria both in Nigeria here and abroad. They are the slave masters.Nobody else. They fear nobody but respects everybody who respect themselves. Igbos bow for everybody.Nobodyvwill bow for a slave. Nobody wants a slave as President Fulani bowing and begging Yoruba
