G0Oodharddick: Another daft and stupid question from a clown.
Oga, tell ur beloved tinubu to take Nigerians back to the era of GEJ when things were so cheap and affordable.
Today, 200k can't even stock the house with food for a single guy let alone for married couples with children.
Nigerians prefer GeJ era to this stupid rule of ur beloved tinubu You sound dafter, sir. You couldn't answer just a simple question. |

VTJN: good
But for now, Nigerians are benefiting nothing in Tinubu government. A government that will be 2 years in 4 months time. Did you ever think that the refineries could work again? Has Nigeria ever gotten E-gate at our airports before? Has Nigeria ever seen the kind of capabilities of that of the Tinubu innovation Centre before? These are great benefits. Infrastructures make nations great. |
Politics › Re: Can You Name One Thing Nigerians Are Benefitting From This Government? by Ofemannnu: 5:45pm On Jan 22, 2025 |
VTJN: the government are benefiting from our commonwealth and tax payers money. We're the employer of the government. They're there for us not for themselves even though we know they're there for themselves and families. We pay them and sponsor their luxury lifestyle through our commonwealth and tax payers money.
Oya mention just one thing Nigerians are benefiting from Tinubu government. For instance, during Buhari government Nigerians benefited free education, cheap fuel, lower inflation rate, lower cost of goods and services etc.. these are what i benefited from Buhari government as a common man on the street.
What are you benefiting from Tinubu government? Tinubu is just one and half years in govt. Obasanjo,Jonathan, Buhari completed their 2 terms and we know how they killed the refineries, local govts etc. Tinubu has given life to them now. These are super, super benefits We shall feel the positive effects soonest. No pain,no gain |

G0Oodharddick: You're asking a stupid question.
He gave you clear example yet you failed to answer what Nigerians have benefited from this gov.
In GeJ era, a bag of rice was 8k, crate of egg was 300 naira. Those big Bread was sold as little as #50. Fuel was #85 naira. Things were so cheap that Nigerians benefitted alot.
Now tinubu has taken over and everything tripled. What are Nigerians benefitting from this govt? At the time of Babangida, how much was a bag of rice? It was cheaper than the time of Jonathan. Gowon's time was cheaper than the time Abdul Salam, Obasanjo etc. Can you tell us the reason? |

The fact that you're yet to fence your house, does not negate the need of working on or taking care of the shop. It's common sense. That is the design they were using then. That is the old building. It has been rebuilt. |

cyprus000: Stop looking at things from a parochial perspective. The fact it's just a block away from a UN building, should tell you that they're trying to circumvent the need of paying exorbitant fees to lodge officials for UN gathering.
That's foresight. Why couldn't the foolish leaders build something like that in Nigeria is what he asked. Infrastructures make a nation because they attract people who will help in developing your economy and even the country. Look at Dubai today. Obasanjo squadered Nigeria's money on frivolities like Festac etc.So were others that were there before and after him. Very dumb leaders. |

vanbonattel: Facts of this matter
1. No parents reported that their children were stolen from Ondo and Osun states.
2. The economic situation may have made their parents abandon them for criminals to steal.
3. The woman in Anambra is claiming to run an orphanage, does she have documents to prove this, or is she just another criminal in partnership with the ones from Ondo.
4. That hungry children roamimg the streets in the SW are being bought by criminals in Anambra, while their brothers online is claiming that SE people are flocking their place for economic reasons.
Which one we go believe now? What you should believe has been written in the news-story. The old woman from Anambra is a criminal who later trained the labourer to become a criminal like her. Anybody or region,Igbos associate with, they introduce criminality to the gullible ones amongst them. |

happney65: I dont get this at all. There is almost little or no difference in the current one and Oyedele is saying he has no objection to the Nonesense the Govornors are bringing forward.
Existing VAT sharing formular: 1. Derivation 20% 2. Equality 50% 3. Population 30%
The Tinubu proposed tax reforms formular: 1. Derivation 60% 2. Equality 20% 3. Population 20%
Governors' Forum Proposal: 1. Derivation 30% 2. Equality 50% 3. Population 20%
So tell me if this is what they want to settle for, isnt it Jargons?
P.S. I'm not a Fan of Tinubu, but I support his proposal for the VAT. But if his proposal doesnt go through,I'm sorry nothing good will come out of his administration.
Because if this cant be done by a Southerner. Tell me what can he do?
Resource control Restructuring the federation Etc
If he cant do ordinary VAT to favour the areas that bring more, how will he do other stuffs that are tougher than VAT?
Anyways we wait and see before I start calling him a Coward Which one is tougher than VAT He has done LG autonomy,State Police,Tax,there are a lot of things in those tax bills that will move Nigeria forward exponentially not only VAT. It is a democracy,he must listen to others too. When Buhari brought Ruga and the Water bill, the Southerners quashed them totally. They later reintroduced water bill and Southerners were able to kill it Tinubu is even lucky 95% of the tax bill is intact. The Northerners initially and vehemently called for its withdrawal but Tinubu prevailed. He is just lucky. |

Yes,we have to give it to him as nobody or institution has disputed that he is the highest paid. He might be the highest paid ROBOTIC engineer not necessarily the whole gamut of ICT or any other sector other then ROBOTIC. Succinctly,we can say that he is one of the highest paid. Kudos to him for making Nigeria proud. |

“It should not be a fire brigade approach where you will be running after policies and programmes that are alien to us, that are not understood and may be misconstrued.
That part made me laugh. Tinubu is a genius and wouldn't do what previous govts have been doing that had made a blessed nation like Nigeria a poverty capital in recent time and a poor nation living from hand to mouth. His reforms are alien because they have never happened in Nigeria before but they are the panacea to a strong economy,a part to sustainable lasting prosperity. It is T-Pain It is a temporary pain period that will begin to show its positive effects from this 2025. |

2) Late governor of ondo state, Rotimi akeredolu married Igbo woman .
