Facebook's new profile layout, Timeline, promises to turn your Facebook account into an online scrapbook where you can highlight important moments in your life and resurface past Facebook activity. "Timeline is the story of your life, in a new way to express who you are," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Thursday announcing the new feature. As its name suggests, Timeline organizes your life in reverse chronological order based on the content you've shared on your Facebook profile. The layout is designed as a dual-column view with a large main column for viewing content and a smaller one on the right for fast navigation. If you've entered when you graduated high school or college, when you got married, when your first child was born or when you started a new job, all that data will show up in your Timeline. You can also go back and add photos and captions to important past events if you want to, or remove particularly embarrassing photos or other content from your new profile page. Timeline is currently in a limited beta for developers but, when I found out you could activate it immediately (thanks to a little developer program trickery explained below), I jumped right in to see what all the fuss was about. While Timeline still has a few bugs to work out, it was a very interesting way to experience Facebook and a great way to look at your past activity. But, in my tests, there were also some privacy changes that may give some users pause. I just read a refutal from NBC to the effect that they are not aware of the alledged ban placed on D'banj new release, Oliver. The controversy surrounding the purported air-play ban placed on Dbanj new song "OLIVER" (due to its lewed lyrics) continued on Friday with Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) dissociating itself from the action.http://www.channel801.com/magazine801/varieties-a-style/25-styles/110-we-did-not-ban-dbanjs-oliver-nbc |
I post this to correct the story posted by Mukina2 about Yakubu deal with Blackburn. In the early hours of yesterday I woke up to an epic twitter fight between a couple of University of Lagos girls who decided to air each others dirty laundry on the social media platform.More twitter screenshot when you click here. http://www.channel801.com/magazine801/varieties-a-style/14-varieties/91-unilag-students-in-twitter-war-over-aristos-pix-inside

Thanks everyone. I hv learnt a lot here. |
@Finecat Thanks for your encouragemnt. Everything u said is true. As a matter of fact, he now dodges me unconciously and has refused to entertain any discussion abt my family. |
Thanks for this. I think I need to start from here. |
He is no longer troubling me about going out with him, but it seems he is fed up with me. |
I work as a PA to a man that is so powerful in my company. Even though he is not the owner of the company, he practically decides what happens as he is a goal getter and a good manager, aside from being the brother to the owner who resides abroad. When I joined the company, I didn’t suspect his being “over-nice” to me has having any ulterior motive as he is generally nice to people. For your information, I am married with a kid, a Christian and NOTHING will make me defile my marital vow. As a matter of fact, I told him once that I was ready to resign my appointment rather than indulge in this his sinful gesture. I have used every diplomacy available to relate with this man. To make the matter worst, he is suspecting I have informed my husband and this is making him uncomfortable with me, and this is affecting our duties in and outside the office. As of now, he is no longer troubling me about going out with him, but it seems he is fed up with me. I am suspecting that my days in the company is numbered by his body languages but I need this job so much in order to support my family. Please, how do I deal with this man. Your advice should be premised on the following: 1. There is no way I could avoid him as we work together. 2. I could not report him either 3. I CAN NEVER go out with him. 4. I am not ready to resign now until I have found an alternative. |
