Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gifty Power has finally admitted that she was once married.
There had been pictures of her and a certain man all over the internet while she was in the house and also after she was evicted.

Gifty who is also an actress had denied being married in two different interview after leaving the house.
However, in a recent interview with Hip Tv, she finally admitted that she was once married while breaking down in tears.

According to her, it is a dark part of her life she doesn’t want to ever go back to.

She said, “…it’s a dark part of my life I don’t ever want to go back. First of all, my advice to young girls out there is that, before you go into marriage, you have to be physically, mentally and emotionally matured.”

A female teacher who had a six month affair with a pupil has been jailed.

Mary Beth Haglin, 24, revealed she had daily sex sessions with the 17-year-old boy during a TV interview with Dr Phil last year.

The substitute teacher, who worked at Washington High School, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, also sent the boy X-rated photos of herself.

‘We had sex – almost daily – in his car, my car, his mom’s house, and his dad’s house,’ she told Dr Phil in October.

Haglin, who became ‘Bambi’ the lap dancer after she was sacked, initially said the pupil was the one who seduced her and she was the victim.

She claimed she tried to break up with him but he said he would tell people about the affair if she did.

‘He did so with such intelligence and such an elevated vocabulary that I was completely duped by the whole facade,’ she added.

But District Judge Kevin McKeever didn’t buy her defence and convicted her of sexual exploitation of a student.

He handed Haglin a 360 day term on Friday but she will only serve 90 days after he suspended part of the sentence.

Judge McKeever added: ‘Any violations of that section of terms of probation could result in additional consequences including an extension of the parole period or a revocation of parole.’

Tanzania on Saturday announced plans to publish a list of gay people allegedly selling sex online — just days after shutting dozens of AIDS clinics accused of promoting homosexuality.

The country’s deputy health minister Hamisi Kigwangalla said on Twitter that the government was investigating “the homosexuality syndicate” and would arrest and prosecute those involved in the gay sex business.

“I will publish a list of gay people selling their bodies online. Those who think this campaign is a joke are wrong. The government has long arms and it will arrest all those involved quietly,” he wrote.

“Once arrested they will help us find others.”

Gay male sex is punishable by anything from 30 years to life imprisonment under Tanzanian law, but there is no such ban on lesbian relations.

However politicians have largely ignored the gay community — which was not subject to levels of discrimination seen in other countries such as neighbouring Uganda — until a recent spike in anti-gay rhetoric by the government.

In July last year, the regional commissioner for the port city of Dar es Salaam, Paul Makonda, announced a crackdown against gays, followed by arrests in clubs.

Some people who have been openly gay on the internet stopped posting after Makonda threatened that police would arrest those who follow them on social media.

Dozens of men suspected of being gay have been detained and taken to hospital for anal exams to confirm their homosexuality.

Also in July last year the government banned the import and sales of sexual lubricants, which Health Minister Ummy Mwalimu said encouraged homosexuality which led to the spread of HIV/AIDS.

On Thursday government announced it was stopping many privately run health centres from providing AIDS-related services after they were accused of providing services to homosexuals.

“We have suspended the provision of HIV and AIDS services at less than 40 drop-in centres for key populations operated by NGOs countrywide after it was established that the centres were promoting homosexuality, which is against Tanzania’s laws,” Mwalimu told a press conference.

Last year she said it was estimated that 23 percent of men who have sex with men in Tanzania were living with HIV/AIDS.

Homosexuality is illegal in 38 of 54 countries in Africa, and is punishable by death in Mauritania, Sudan and Somalia, according to Amnesty International.

Uganda in 2014 tried to impose the death penalty on those found guilty of being homosexual, however the controversial law was later repealed.

A jealous boyfriend lover has confessed to killing his girlfriend, a second year student of International Business.

28-year-old Brian Bagyenda, who is also the son of Uganda’s new director of Internal Security Organisation, Col Frank Bagyenda aka Kaka, has been charged with the murder of his 22-year-old girlfriend, Enid Twijukye, in what is considered to be biggest security bother for Uganda Police, the Judiciary and Uganda’s spy networks.

Dr. Brian who was arraigned in court on Tuesday, Feb 14,2017, confessed that he murdered his girlfriend out of jealousy and rage, after he saw photos she took with another man on a phone he bought for her, by suffocating her to death with the help of his friends 24-year-old Innocent Bainomugisha, and 28-year-old Vincent Rwahwire.

However, the family of the deceased disclosed that the suspect is no longer in custody, and that his father is likely to use his influence to tamper justice.

“We have been told that Police officers are too scared to comment or even handle the matter because it involves their boss (new ISO boss Kaka), and we are getting worried that we may get a doctored postmortem report,” a source told the ugandan.
However, Col. Kaka did not respond to a request for comment on Tuesday morning.

A man has agreed that his girlfriend can have sex with other men while he remains faithful – on the condition she doesn’t leave him.

Adam Gillet, 27 and partner Beatrice Gibbs, 22, say their one-sided open relationship makes them happy and they’re not concerned with what others think of them.

They came to the unorthodox agreement after Beatrice, a make-up artist, confessed that she didn’t think she could resist sleeping with other men.
She explained: ‘I love Adam, but I wasn’t ready to settle down and commit to just one man.’

When she tried to break up with Adam, he was devastated. He suggested they stay together, agreeing she could have sex with other men so long as she was completely honest about it.

Beatrice has lost count of the number of men she’s kissed since she and Adam agreed to have an open relationship, but claims she’s slept with five other guys in 18 months.

Most are one-night stands, but there is one man she sees around once a fortnight.

She keeps things purely physical with other guys and Adam says the arrangement takes away the worry of her cheating on him.

Accoring to series of post on nairaland, students of FUMINNA, are rioting and protesting in the school premises.

The school’s clinic, was set on fire during the course of the riot. According to some of the post, the reason for the protest and riot, is the death of a 300lvl student of the department of education, which was caused as a result of the carelessness of the clinic workers.

The students in the course of their riot, were said to have vandalized the micro-finance bank, hostels, among other school properties.

A student has been jailed for 25 years for murdering his girlfriend during rough sex on Valentine’s Day.

Chico Fierro, 26, pleaded guilty to killing Karyna Rodriguez in 2015 following a night of drinking, in which he also took pictures of her unconscious body covered in blood.
Rodriguez had told police that he and his girlfriend had ‘rough sex’ and then had fallen asleep but officers later found photos on his phone of her lying on the mattress surrounded by blood.

Ms Rodriguez, who was also a student at New Mexico State University, was found in an apartment at midday the following day.

A preliminary autopsy determined she bled to death from severe internal injuries that apparently took place during sex, the El Paso Times reported.

During a bond hearing in 2015, the defendants lawyer Thomas D. Carter IV explained the pair were ‘in love’ but had engaged in consensual but rough sex.

But prosecutors told the court that many of Fierro’s ex-girlfriends had told investigators that he had a tendency for using objects during sex.

Fierro, who also worked as a personal trainer while studying at the University of Texas, had charges of aggravated assault with a weapon dismissed.

A mother who murdered her 19-day-old baby son with a blow to the head after subjecting him to a catalogue of abuse has been sentenced to life in prison.

Nicola Brown, 43, will have to serve a minimum of 14 and a half years for the fatal attack on her toddler son Jake Young.
At an earlier hearing, the court heard the attack on Jake exactly two years ago included a blow of ‘astonishing force’ to his head with a hard object.
The youngster was found to have suffered a number of horrific injuries, including bruises to his scalp, a fractured skull, a bilateral brain haemorrhage and bleeding to his eyes.

Experts examining his body after his death found he also had 17 fractures to his ribs, and the prosecution claimed he was ‘probably shaken’.

Following the attack on Jake, the court heard Brown phoned 999 and told paramedics Jake was ‘not very well’ after ‘falling from his baby basket the day before’.

Jake – who took his mother’s maiden name – suffered ‘rapid’ traumatic injuries consistent with blows to the head on the day of his death on December 19, 2014.

During the three-week long trial, jurors heard Brown, from Portsmouth, Hampshire, sob in court as a recording of her 999 call was played.

She said: ‘My baby is not breathing. Yesterday he was knocked out of the baby basket – he’s definitely not breathing.

‘He’s 19 days old and I didn’t think there was anything wrong with him when he was knocked out of the baby basket.’

She was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court to life imprisonment and must serve a minimum of 14 years and six months. Brown had denied murder but was convicted by a jury.

A 19-year-old mother from Muskegon Township has been accused of sexually abusing her infant son and producing child sexually abusive material.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services said Jazmine Nichole Pacyga admitted to performing MouthAction on her 3-month-old baby.

Pacyga’s parental rights have been suspended and she has been lodged in the Muskegon County Jail on two felony charges.

She was charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct and manufacturing child sexually abusive material.

According to Mlive, the alleged assault occurred on Feb. 5.

The child has been placed in the custody of DHHS and efforts are underway to determine the baby’s father, according to court records.

Pacyga is being charged as a second-time habitual offender because of a prior conviction for felony home invasion, Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat, has said.

She faces up to life in prison.

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Monday adjourned to March 6 the suit filed by former first lady, Patience Jonathan, seeking to un-freeze her bank accounts.

Mrs. Jonathan had filed the suit suing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after the agency froze the bank accounts containing a total of $15 million.

She is demanding $200 million as damages.

The judge adjourned the matter based on requests from the defence counsel seeking more time to study the case.
