Retire the Generals and make do with dedicated middle level officers. And insurgency will abate.

What the President need do is sack any Commander seem lagging. CO go send boys go out for ops, una go dey hear say 10, 15 soldiers die and nothing will be done to the CO or at most he'll be transferred. If 2 or 3 senior officer get drilled and retired for every failed ops, the rest go sit up

But assuming a mid level officers will come and overtake Generals or Colonels in operational command is just a wishful thinking

Roads construction should not be in the mind of a poor state like Kaduna... Is it important yes but is it needed now? Absolutely not they and manage the dirt road... Just grad it and they would manage

I know in this clime, it's weird to see a young man who is probably doing well for himself, have a good job and basically have things going well for him to rule out the importance of marriage or seem uninterested in marriage.

I've seen and read a lot, how bad marriage ruins life, destroys dreams and destinies. How even the good marriage stresses men into going the extra to taking care of their families. And some, the children later grow to ignore the father and take care of the mother the most leaving the poor man lonely and less cared for.

I mean imagine struggling to get things working for me with no lady's contribution and then I get things right with me and I'm just supposed to go marry and start caring for someone elses daughter?? It's quite different if you both were in the struggles together but having to come this way alone, there's every assurance I can go further alone in life with just my Nuclear family who only cared

As it now, aside given birth to kids and cooking (which I don't really care about and I can cook) I really don't see a need for a wife. Someone is trying to say how bout sex? can go years without it and my body has proven this to be true. Someone is also trying to say life companionship?? Lol I've spent almost a decade of my life doing what I like and not really having to feel lonely

Do I get lonely atimes? Yes I do (sometimes and not most of the times) since I've learnt to engage in many stuffs I like and I also got many friends to always gist of hang out with. But then, even in many marriages, some men also feel lonely.

To cut the long epistle short, Is there any man here on NL who probably had this kinda feeling in his late 20's and later regretted it as he grows older or on the flip side, happened to be the best decision he made by staying unmarried. (I've seen the worse happen to men cuz of marriage but I've hardly heard any bad thing happen to a man cuz he decided to stay unmarried) I met a 50+ years old man recently, who we now hang out most times, he head a top British engineering firm in Lagos, he is wealthy and still single at that age by choice, said he did not regret the decision neither did he gained from it, just a not here, not there kinda feeling.

So I'm quite curious to know if any man here regretting the decision of staying unmarried.
