Not to go out of topic, I would rather say it more about his personal life and family. They want to express that he was once a believer yet find that it was just a myth and the writing of his first manuscripts. There can be subsequent part to the movies with time. The book he wrote in the movie, CREATION was not 'Origin Of Species', I guess. Probably collective observations he made during the time he was going through the troubles of family belief and losing a child he loved most.

At the end,As for the war of nature . . .there is grandior in these fields of life. Why these planets began circling according to the fixed law of gravity from so simple from the beginning to the endless forms of most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved - explains it all.

I don't think it's a disservice to his life as such but a disservice to his achievement and discoveries. In all, it is a good movie.

I have always been a fan of Charles Darwin and a firm supporter of his theories on natural selection, and when I learned of this films release last year I was very excited. I was very disappointed with the outcome. This film does a dis-service to Darwin's life and hardly touches on his ideas of natural selection or how he came about to develop his theories. an instant classic.</sup>
