I had an argument with a friend over this new tax law weeks ago, where he said there will be protest if BAT and his cohorts don't rescind their decision on the law..

The truth is, the APCHEAT government has weakened Nigerians to the point where they don't even have strength to protest on anything anymore, no matter how bad..

If Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso etc do not come out and support any protest they are not ready yet. Let FG call the protest political it's not anybody's business. That is where this present politicians are failing. If it was Tinubu he will protest and if you like call it anything it's not his business.

It's become a serious issue most especially power. The way BEDC increased their charges is really outrageous. Like they were giving you 200k bill all of a sudden you are receiving 6-700k bill.
In months to come we will understand the implications better.

That is where you are getting it wrong. All those things that Jesus spoke about did not happen in that generation, couldn't have happened in that generation. The question is what generation was he referring to when He said this generation?

Let see the question the disciples asked Him.
Matthew 24:3 (KJV) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
They seek clarity base on Jesus's teachings and even the disciples thought that all those things will be fulfilled in their generation because the thoughts that Jesus will be coming very soon. Do you know why because they don't understand in dept at that point in time.
Matthew 24:32-34 (KJV) Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Looking at the verses above when he told them to learn a parable. The fig tree represent Israel and it refers to when Israel will become a nation. And Israel became a nation around 1948 and that was when the generation that Jesus was talking about began. Make your research on that. Go on YouTube and do some research on that. So the coming of Jesus Christ is this generation.
We know that worst event have happened in the past. But when the nations began to move towards a moment that scriptural prophesies have said the world will move towards then you should know that this particular time is a critical moments different from those previous times.

Matthew 24:14 (KJV) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
This is what is left before Jesus come and it's happening right now as we are speaking.

There is a definite number of people that will be saved before Jesus will come.

I do not want you, believers, to be unaware of this mystery [God’s previously hidden plan]—so that you will not be wise in your own opinion—that a partial hardening has [temporarily] happened to Israel [to last] until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

The word 'Rapture'. is not in the Bible. However, the events that is being described as rapture is in the Bible. First let start with Enoch. Enoch did not see death scripture says that he was translated or taken away that he did not see death.
Amplified Bible Heb 11:15
By faith [that pleased God] Enoch was caught up and taken to heaven so that he would not have a glimpse of death; AND HE WAS NOT FOUND BECAUSE GOD HAD TAKEN HIM; for even before he was taken [to heaven], he received the testimony [still on record] that he had walked with God and pleased Him.

Isaiah also was taken to heaven too.
It's this event that we call 'Rapture'. The taken away of Christians into even.
The question you should now ask should be is there an events in scripture that Christians will be taken away.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 (KJV) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Verse 17 is what described the event called Rapture.
Matthew 24:38-41 (KJV) For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52
[51]Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed)
[52]In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [sound of the] last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [in Christ] will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay), and we shall be changed (transformed).

These events is what we call RAPTURE.

Let me respond to you. Even the Quran that we don't share same believe noted that Jesus is alive. He died and rose again and now He is in heaven. You acknowledge that for thousands of years people have been saying He would come back again. Jesus couldn't have come at those times that they were expecting him and the scripture is clear about that. Even some disciples thought the same because that was what they think. But going through both the new and old testament it's clear to us that live in this age, this time that Jesus will come in our time, in our day and it's no longer far anymore. Accept Jesus now and see how beautiful it is when you have fellowship with God. Nothing is sweeter when you fellowship with the Spirit of God.

A nation is easily destroyed from within. Someone will argued that this is not the first time they are protesting but what they don't know is that when the time for change has come such protest can make a difference.
Further more 2026 has a lot to unrevealed because unusual things are going on already. Look at rain fall during December and January now.

Lastly remember that one day Jesus Christ will come again and rapture will take place whether you believe it or not. Your not believing it will not stop it.
