The plot against Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State thickens as it has just been reported that the Ogun State chapter of the Labour Party (LP) has declared intention to work with other “influential parties” that are also against the administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Without a shred of evidence, the All Progressives Congress in Osun State on Friday has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party had concluded a plot to assassinate the first civilian Governor of the state, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, and three other APC leaders in the state.

A Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur has stated that the President Jonathan deserves to to return to Aso Rock next year because of his progressive and human-faced policies. Alhaji Tukur also noted that the re-election of Jonathan in the February 2015 presidential polls will strengthen democracy and preserve the unity and stability of Nigeria.

Just a few weeks after exposing the Federal Government for allegedly hiring a foreign Public Relations firm to launder it’s image, the All progressive Congress, APC, has done same. The APC has reportedly hired Burson-Marsteller, a London based Public Relations and Public Affairs for an annual fee of $1.2 Million, approximately N200 Million to help ‘peel off it’s Boko Haram tag’.

Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has reportedly defrauded Ekiti state of N653.8 million. According to a top government official, this is also involving N582,041,542.93 (Five hundred and eighty two million, forty one thousand, five hundred and forty two naira, ninety three kobo) released to the 16 Local Councils in the State as their Non-Oil Revenue for the month of May, 2014 shared in June, and N75,193,246.04 released as the four percent statutory payment to Local Government Parastatals and Agencies from the June allocation.
