The Nigeria of our dreams can never be what we are experiencing presently where constant abuse of democratic norms is on parade, such as barricading the entrance of the National Assembly as witnessed few days back, the place that holds the hopes of common Nigerians; it is a big slap on our faces. And to add Sault to the injury, the executive arm of government claimed or even seemed not be aware of such a barbarrick insident.

Definitely this is not a glorifying democracy. Nobody is in charge of affairs!!! Clue to such a disgraceful display should have been gotten in its build up and prevented. This is a hard earned democracy and our leaders should cherish the fact that they are the custodian now else they will not like the reaction of Nigerians.

I stand on the side of democracy but definitely not this arm-twisting style.
