Show times are 5:30pm and 7:30pm everyday.

Banana leaves played at the Pan African film festival in Los Angeles as well as the Black harvest film festival in Chicago.
It was nominated for "Best film" by the African American Arts alliance.

Market legend, an experimental film from the producers of Banana leaves is having an open casting call for cast members.

Chicago, IL February 4, 2009 -- Banana Leaves, a feature film by Nigerian Producer, Director, Lanre Sarumi has been shortlisted to play at the 17th Pan African Film Festival.
Banana leaves was shot on location in Chicago and stars Michael Blackson, "The African King of comedy" ("Next Friday" Ice cube production) in his first role in a horror drama.

Banana leaves is about 3 young adults with a taste for drugs. When a friend of theirs dies as a result of a drug overdose, they decide to quit using dangerous drugs,  and instead use safe ones! The search for a safe drug leads them to "Banana leaves". Unfortunately, banana leaves leads to bizarre hallucinations and they are stuck in a world of ghosts and unknown spirits.

Pan African Film Festival is one of the oldest and largest Black film festival in the United States. The festival brings together African inspired films to an 11-day festival in Los Angeles, California.
