Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Ojekkk: 6:42pm On Nov 14, 2017
When my wife left to wife applied for visa to Canada,my first son was 2 years plus 11 months while mt second son was barely one year old. She left both of them behind.uthor=justwise post=62264857]

Your kids are far too young to be left behind. It's difficult to see why you should be given a visa considering the fact that you are not traveling with them [/quote]

How did your wife tackled her visa application issues?
The 3rd application, she paid Term 1 tuition fees and had about 5.5 million naira statement of account. The first two attempts, it was 4 million naira statements that we had. No tuition was paid. She also got confirmation of enrolment from the school.

What do u mean by ridiculously cheap?
Have u check the website before?
The site is legit I knew of someone who booked on there but if you are looking for ridiculously expensive flights, kindly check KLM, Lufthansa, Qatar and Air france
Not ridiculous in the negative sense of it but as a big relief for me cos I have planning to travel with my mother inlaw to canada but fares have been frightening.
I wish to know how to go about booking with the site.
Please could your friend help me with the booking?

Thanks everyone sponsor was my mom. I appreciate, God bless you all. I am happy it is just funds, perhaps, if it was some other ambiguous reasons, I may have been bothered. I will try again, if I am denied again, I will forget Canada and invest in agriculture grin
Please do not be discouraged, last year my wife was denied three times on account of insufficient funds. First Application was in April and was denied in may. second application was in June and was denied in July. She then wrote her school who asked to start classes online while she reapplies. The application was in September and was approved in December. She is currently in Canada with my 3 kids though the last was born in Canada This year.

Hello Everyone in the house.

I want to know how much funds my husband needs to show in his statement of account to enable me invite my two sons ( 3 years + and 1 year plus ) and my mother to canada to stay with me throughout my program. I am pregnant and I will be due to deliver next year in canada. I will need my mother around to help me with my new baby while I continue with my studies as I do not intend to take maternity leave. My mother has been the one taking care my two sons in Nigeria. I am a masters of nursing student. Please I await your kind response.

I thank God for His mercies. I finally got TRV at 3rd attempt in one year.

First Application April 2015 via online but Refused May 2015

Second Application June 2015 online Refused July 2015

3rd Application September 2015 online TRV November 2015.

Reasons for refusal were insufficient funds. I Was working with the proof of funds requirement on CIC website. My admission was for fall 2015.

I did not submit SOP nor police check in any of the applications.

Forget it and get a new admission!...
Except you can get a months grace ffrom your university to resume late...and a letter to ascertain that...

Buh u still need time to sort your finances..

If u can get a co sponsor of same amount wud be okay

Must a co sponsor be a family member. My husband's mentor would be most willing to be a co sponsor but he is not his family member. Can we use him?

Sorry to learn about your delay but you've to be careful about rushing to reapply. If you just had a baby, you'll need to have sufficient funds in your husband's account to cover your fees, living expenses while leaving enough to cater for his needs and that of your children.

I said I had new baby last year when I first deferred. I cannot defer more than once. Do you think I can reapply now since my school starts September 3.

Becareful of reapplying next week with some amount of money added into it suddenly...
Besides it's not advisable to apply for september resumption anymore if you don't want to dash them application fee...
I'll advise you defer till january...
This will allow u pump the account with the amount of money over a period of months(saay 3 months)

My program starts only in September. I deferred last year cos I had a new baby. I cannot defer more than once - this is school policy. So what do I do. Forget the Program?

as you said....since its just insufficient funds, its easy to tackle.
if only you were on the thread earlier after your first refusal you would have known the 4m wont be enough...
what prog are you going for......Uni or college?

Masters in Nursing - Thesis at the University of Saskatchewan.

I hope to reapply next week as my husband will beef up his account.

if youve been working, you should show your payslips and statement of accoutns....
but the money needed to sponsor you should be in your husbands account...

I submitted my payslips and Letter of introduction from my place of work but not my SOA.

my school starts September 1, 2015. Is it possible reapply because my husband will be making up the money in his savings account to 7M for me to reapply next week.

My school does not permit deferment more than once. I defer last year cos I had a new baby.

lodging a huge sum is wrong.
it has to be built up in transaction history..

I wish to know if I must submit my own SOA also since I am working though my husband is my sponsor.

4million is not enough....you should have in the range of 7-10m to be safe if you havent paid any fees.....5-6m could be enough if you hv paid your fees..

Thank you. But must I put the whole money in my account or in my husband's account ie the 7 to 10 million naira.

Hello every one in the house. I have been refused student visa twice on grounds of insufficient funds whereas my husband submitted a statement of account of 4M plus naira as my sponsor. I did not submit my own SOA cos I expect to support me financially while in canada. Could this be the problem. The amount in the statement and available could cover for tuition fees and living expenses for one year. My program a masters in Nursing - Thesis at the University of Saskatchewan.
