Hello guys,
Please I will like to know the cost of a flight from Lagos to Cairo around August. I learnt when you book ahead, it's always cheaper.
please, I will like to have an update on this while I prepare for my journey soon.
Thanks
It's just like the saying that early birds...... something something. Lol.
So the thing is, when you book early, it's cheaper.
If you want to book a flight, go to a travel website, for example; try https://www.atlanticride.com/ and then compare flights and prices.
Remember also check travel time. Stops and so on, so that you make a wise choice.
Lastly, no worries, if you book, you can always cancel the booking if you wouldn't be needing it any longer.
So book on time, worse worse, you cancel later.
TravelRe: Cheap Hotels In Newyork by Ojiako93(m): 11:00am On Dec 16, 2018
Yes, you can book hotels from hotel search engines. For example, atlanticride.com affords you that opportunity.
Just go to the site, type in your prepared location and you'd see hotels and prices.
You can then book, and pay on arrival.
Also, if you are not able to make it, no harm no foul.

webprince:
Booking travel is so easy to do, yet all too often we wind up spending more than we wanted. Thank fee-happy airlines for that— there's no limit to what they'll charge for, from meals to checked bags and flimsy pillows.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics, airlines made $3.3 billion in baggage fees alone in 2011.

Test the 24-hour rule
After you book, check the next morning to see if the price of your airfare fell.

If it did, give the airline a call to cancel your flight and often you can rebook without penalty.

Take last-minute trips
Airlines are known to cut prices when they can't fill planes for an upcoming weekend trip.

On Tuesday, they'll email offers for the coming weekend or following one to fliers who signed up for alerts. Travelers can leave Friday night or anytime Saturday, then return on Monday or Tuesday.

Chase the fare, not the destination
Kayak's explore tool is useful for searching multiple airline fares at a time.

You'll instantly see a map with all the destinations listed under a set budget.

Fly two different airlines
Sometimes it's worth it to mix and match. Most airlines now sell one-way flights at reasonable prices, meaning one might be cheaper for the outbound flight while the other works better for the return.

You could even fly to one airport and depart from another.

Become a frequent flier
It pays to cozy up to your airline of choice.

Become an elite member of the airline's frequent-flier program or use a credit card that's tied to the airline to get a leg up on other travelers, says U.S. News' Daniel Bortz.

Likewise, if you're using a credit card that offers rewards, check to see if those rewards can be redeemed for miles or travel gift cards.

Search for deals in the morning
Early morning is the time you'll see the most deals, says Bortz, although some airlines release discounted tickets throughout the day.

Book six weeks in advance
A revealing study from Airlines Reporting Corporation found that the best time to purchase your airfare is about six weeks prior to travel.

The reason: Around this time, prices drop below the average fare.

Honestly, that's the greatest truth about flight booking. Once you've confirmed you'd travel, even if it's 3 months in the future, book your flight and save yourself the stress.
Personally, I compare flight prices and hotel prices using https://www.atlanticride.com

That way, I don't have to pay travel agents.

TravelRe: Tips: To Booking Cheap Flights Amidst Rising Airfares by Ojiako93(m): 10:35am On Dec 16, 2018
Thisis2raw:
In recent weeks, airfares in Nigeria, especially on international routes, have risen by about 60-70 per cent. Travellers on the Lagos-US route have had to cough out between N700,000 and N1 milliom to buy economy air tickets. The trend has forced some passengers to halt or cancel planned overseas trips.
But a little knowledge of how to get low or cheaper fares online could be of help to passengers even under the prevailing harsh economy and rising air fares.
Popular website, ThriftyNomads, offers some tips on how to find cheap airfares or book the cheapest possible flights to any destination.
So, here are some key tips that will save you time, frustration and, most importantly, money when booking your next flight.
Keep your searches top secret
You’re not crazy for thinking that a flight price has changed after searching it a few times in your web browser. Based on the cookies in your browser, flight prices do increase when a particular route is repeatedly searched, as the site wants to scare you into booking the flight quickly before prices get even higher. Always search for flights incognito or private browsing mode to see the lowest prices.
In Google Chrome or Safari, incognito is enabled by hitting Command (or “Control” if using PC), Shift, “N”. For Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, hit Command (or “Control” if using a PC), Shift, “P”. This will open a new browser window where your information is not tracked, thus not inflating prices as you search. Note: if you’re using an older version of OS X, open Safari then click “Safari” in the menu bar, and select “Private Browsing”.
Your cookies are reset each time you re-open an incognito window. So if you want to start with a clean slate for each flight search (so your previous searches aren’t “remembered”, potentially inflating costs), close all your incognito windows, open a new one, and then perform your flight search.
Use best flight search engines
All search engines have inflated flight costs as part of taking a cut from the airlines. Some search engines consistently inflate much higher than others. It pays to familiarise yourself with sites that offer the best prices.
Finally, no single search engine is consistently perfect, though we find Skyscanner to be pretty good. As such, you may need to try a combination of search engines to ensure you’re not missing any results.
Identify the cheapest day to fly out
While many theories exist around booking specifically on a Tuesday to save money, the reality is there is no consistent truth to exactly, which days are cheapest to fly. But most of the time, it is cheaper to leave on a weekday, though this isn’t always the case. Your best strategy is to get a quick visual of prices for a whole month to see what days are cheapest for your specific route.

Here’s how:

Use a travel agent
It is always better to find and keep one or two trusted travel agents whom you can fall back on when in dire need of a cheap fare. Travel agents have special undercut rates from airlines that are inaccessible to the rest of the travelling public, although sometimes this doesn’t always imply they can provide the lowest price. Therefore, the trick is better do your own research first, find the cheapest flight, and thereafter present that information to them to see if they can match or beat it by getting you something cheaper. This would be especially beneficial for long-haul flights, where even slight savings could equate to a few hundred dollars.
Don’t wait longer to book
Rarely ever do airline tickets get cheaper as your departure date approaches, especially if you need to fly on a certain or specific date. Budget airlines typically offer low rates as a baseline price, and as these tickets sell, the remaining ones increase in cost. So in these harsh times, if you know when and where you’re going, don’t wait very long. Don’t procrastinate buying your ticket. More often than not, your biggest savings come from booking far ahead when you can.
Check if it’s cheaper to pay in other currencies
Before booking a flight, consider if the rate is cheaper if paid in another currency. Most international airlines will demand that passengers pay in the currency of the country they are departing from but this isn’t always the case. An important note when doing this: make sure you’re using a credit card that is free of foreign-transaction fees, otherwise your attempts to save money doing this will be lost! Sometimes paying in the currency of the airline’s country can bring down the fare.
Search for airline error fares
Airlines sometimes make mistakes when posting their fares online, leading to seriously discounted flights. This can happen for various reasons – currency conversion mishaps, technical glitches or human error. If you’re in the know-how on where to find airline error fares, you can save yourself some serious bucks on a ticket.
It's also a good idea to use flight search engines like https://www.atlanticride.com to compare flight prices easily.
That way, all flight prices are displayed on the same page so you can compare. It's also available to book the flight you so chose, because like you just said, flight prices change.
Booking doesn't mean paying on the spot immediately thou, but do book.
It's better you book and don't pay, than wanting to pay, but not finding the right price to book.

Please i need the cheapest flight from Lagos to Dubai.
I need it between 15 and 18 of this month.
A one way trip please.
Like I told the other guy, all you have to do is go to https://atlanticride.com and compare flight options and prices to your destination.
It will save you all the speculations.
While you are there, you can also browse hotels you can stay in Dubai and things to do in Dubai to make your trip worthwhile, that's if you are there for something other than business.

Again, u don't necessarily need to pay for anything there, just book and pay on the day u wish to fly or lodge.
Thanks

Hi, instead of speculation, you could just use a flight search engine like https://www.atlanticride.com to check for flights for you location on specified dates.
The prices of different flight vary, so u can compare and then book if you wish.
You don't have to pay, you just need to book the flight at that price. It might change over time, but once you book a flight, it's binding.

Hope I have been helpful.

I heard from someone in Nigeria that there are potbellies everywhere and that a lot of women are overweight.
you heard right. Nigerians have too much to worry about. Our weight isn't one of them. And then we don't eat right. It's a difficult country man.

We preach stuff like this: https://fitnesszin.com/10-best-aerobic-workout-for-weight-loss/

That are supposed to be easy, but, it's almost impractical.

You right about that. I do get lazy for moths on end sometimes.

An advantage to attending a formal gym is that the best looking women go there and dress skimpy, which is enough to motivate for sure.
That's so freaking right. That's probably the only reason why people leave their homes to go to gyms. Come to think of it, there are home gym equipment that will get the job done just as the gym equipment will.
Take a look at this. It's freaking cheap to exercise at home..

Hey, it's almost impossible to have someone admit to having anxiety disorder. That's the very first step in curing or at least handling the condition, because it's not a disease.
If you know and accept you have the condition, it means you can talk yourself down when you begin to get anxious (I know it's not as easy as it sounds, but trust me, it works).
I wrote an article on 6 ways to handle anxiety disorder, it's not exactly a one stop shop to curing your problem, but with an open mind, you might find the stuff there helpful.

While we all want to lose weight and stay healthy, there is this simple thing we all ignore here on Nigeria.
We actually don't know what our body max index is or what our ideal weight should be.
So while we are doing that exercise and taking that supplement, let's remember to watch it so that we don't over do any of this good stuff so that it doesn't eventually turn into bad stuff.
So that being said, constantly check your BMI and your ideal weight and incorporate it into your weight loss plan.
You can find out a tool for checking these stuff below

Thank you
