Otti will be defecting to APC like the rest of his counterparts. Out of desperation, Tinubu has promised all governors and other defectors automatic ticket to the detriment of the political careers of other old-time APC stalwarts. Who wouldn't take advantage of it, especially when it's topped with money? The problem with that selfish plan is that the governors may return elected, depending on their performance, but still fail to deliver Tinubu because he will have a formidable opposition and their popularity is not transferable. Aggrieved APC members will also be unenthusiastic in campaigning for Tinubu, and some will covertly sabotage the party out of spite.
