Last weekend, I came across a documentary online of an incident that happened in Ethiopia, a terrible incident. An armed rebel group invaded a village and left destruction. Survivors narrated how the armed men stormed into the village, shooting in all directions. People were rounded up, men seperated from women. I thought that this was terrorism and violence. However, Justice Omotosho, the judge that handled the case of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has made us know that terrorism and violence is all about "talking". The Judge rendered his judgement in which he kept saying Nnamdi Kanu said this, said that, ordered this, ordered that, made broadcast.

In other words, "Nnamdi Kanu talked". The judge could not tell anyone that Nnamdi Kanu's words led to violence, killings or harm. He couldn't do this because unlike social media, courts are not places of speculation, you have to prove anything you allege.

The judge called Kanu a terrorist based on spoken words alone, he reduced a very serious issue such as terrorism and violence to what words come out of a persons mouth. What sort of terrorist goes to announce his plans of violence on Radio first?

Armed men invaded Yelwata, Benue State, and burnt over 200 people alive. Can you imagine if I go to Yelwata and tell them that what happened to them is not terrorism, that terrorism is if the killers had gone on Radio to announce or order that they be burnt?

Or that what happened in the village in Ethiopia was not violence or terrorism because the armed men should have announced it on Radio only

Omotosho has shown us how bad the judiciary has become. Crime is mainly about what was done, not what was said. When a judge believes that terrorism is all about spoken words, Radio broadcasts, sit at home orders,which is still spoken words, in a country where communities are being invaded daily, people killed or abducted, property destroyed, then we are in a big mess.

Someone should tell the judge that terrorism is about the use of violence, and violence must be an action. No amount of spoken words amounts to an action. No amount of words amounts to violence. A judge who believes that spoken words alone amounts to violence or terrorism, has no business presiding over court affairs.

You turned around and sentenced a man to life in jail based only on the words that came out of his mouth? You reduced terrorism to mere words alone? A terrorist is determined by what he says and not what he does?

What is happening in Nigeria is not a religious war. Rather, It's an ethnic war. It's Fulani bandits versus Nigeria.

A prominent Fulani leader - Sheik Gumi - alluded to this on live TV - Channels TV - sometime in 2021-2022. An abstract from his interview goes thus - "A Fulani man cannot set foot in Shinkafi town in Sokoto state, yet the Emir of Shinkafi is a Fulani man."

I believe there is a renewed jihad by the Fulani bandits against the Nigerian state starting with the north.

The Fulani bandits want to conquer the north all over again and will kill anyone - christian or muslim - who is NOT of their stock.

They did it first in the early 19th century led by Usman Dan Fodio in what is popularly known today as the Fulani Jihad of 1804. It was not total at the time as some parts of the north were spared.

Ever since #FreeNnamdiKanu movement started, Peter Obi strangely has gone silent, he appear to have suddenly lost his voice, his usually way of dominating the news cycle seem non existent, unlike the case of Ibom Air passenger Comfort Emmanson, Peter Obi appears to have lost his strong stance on justice in calling for an end to the unjust treatment of Nnamdi Kanu. I had wondered as it was not clear to me initially as to why Peter Obi who usually loves to grace the front pages of newspapers on every national trending issue will choose to be silent and stay away from supporting the release of Nnamdi Kanu until Sowore made a revelation about it. While responding to a question asked by Seun Okinbaloye whether he reached out to Peter Obi, Sowore said, "Well, Peter Obi interestingly never got back to me. I found out two days ago that he had responded somehow, and I think it was a measured response.

“He said, ‘Okay, you know, they shouldn't have arrested him.’ I think Peter Obi and his people feel like this is some kind of ‘steal the show,’ we don't want to be part of it kind of thing. I watched a video of his response regarding Nnamdi Kanu and all what Obi could say about it in summary was a lame response that Nnamdi Kanu should not have been arrested in the first place. Peter Obi has always portrayed himself as the face of the oppressed in Nigeria, he has on several occasions portrayed himself as someone who believes strongly in justice. It is indeed a shame that he chose to politicize joining a peaceful protest to demand for the release of Nnamdi Kanu by staying away simply because he is not the one that started the movement or leading it. Just as Sowore said and I agree that "where there's injustice, you don't look at who is fighting for what is a just cause. You think about the cause". The fact that Peter Obi, an Igbo man can not rally his base to join the October 20th peaceful protest in soildarity to demand for an end to the continued injustice towards Nnamdi Kanu, shows that Peter Obi cannot be trusted. It is a confirmation of his true selfish motives that he cares more about politics than justice even when it has to do with his tribesman.
