Yes, but it was appealed by the petitioner (the government) and higher court did not uphold the earlier judgment which is why his lawyer is still appealing to a higher court again.

Mr president is not the one holding them. You can hear their lawyer saying that they have prayed for court to grant them bail to enable them travel for medical attention. And the court has fixed a date for the ruling. So until then, no one should blame the President.
