Don't compare him with his peers and do not frustrate him from learning. I will recommend seeing a doctor to see if there is anything you need to be doing. What do you mean by he likes playing with his hands
I disagree with this post. All the child needs is Sagamite and NL. It is the mother/poster/OP who is in dire need of a doctor. She needs to get her head checked.

Ran Apex bank with immense incompetence until the bank became insolvent.
Scuttled Orjis political career
Now he is about to be declared bankrupt again?

Ibo people and their lack of solid business sense  .    .    . We need to annihilate them all before they ruin Naija economy.

Ibo people and cannibalism, two sides of the same coin. No wonder they have a more developed carnassial teeth (the fourth upper premolar and first lower molar) than Yorubas and other Nigerians

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Cannot Be A Secular Country by ojogbontomoye: 7:09pm On Mar 04, 2012
auwal87:
A secular state is a concept of secularism, whereby a state or country purports to be officially neutral in matters of religion, supporting neither religion nor irreligion. A secular state also claims to treat all its citizens equally regardless of religion, and claims to avoid preferential treatment for a citizen from a particular religion/nonreligion over other religions/nonreligion. Secular states do not have a state religion or equivalent, although the absence of a state religion does not guarantee that a state is secular. In addition, secular states are not necessarily communist nations enforcing state atheism on the population by way of religious censorship and persecution. [from wikipedia.org]

The message is clear, some people, especially people with the 'one Nigeria' mentality are trying to regard the country as 'officially neutral in matters of religion'.
There is something fundamentally wrong with your education if you have to resort to Wikipedia to defend your point. The issue here is that your grasp of the Queen's English is poor, and at best rudimentary. My 5 yr old nephew can do way better than you. I don't know what your problem really is, comprehension vs. articulation. Whatever it is, please, and for the sake of everything English, get your acts together. Secular ko, circular ni.

I was doing discrete maths by age 6, vectors by age 5, integrating everything integratable by age 4 and I had already finished Ake and Things fall part before my 3rd birthday. I know, I know . . . I was a precocious lil boy. Not trying to brag or compare myself to your lil boy, just stating the facts. The point is that, sorry to be so blunt, your child is dumb and most likely a lil behind. That said, you ve made the right decision by coming to NL to seek advice from well respected people like Sagamite. Who better to seek advice from If not from a confused 20 something yr old boy who is just as unintelligent as your adorable little future high school dropout. If I were you, I wouldn't seek the advice of professionals, instead Id listen to what people like Sagamite have to say, then, enroll him a vulcanizier/capentry school as early as possible.

Good luck. How I wish kids come with manuals.

Yeah you can.

Can any lawyers in Nigeria clarify for us pls. I know in the US, it is definitely not kidnapping for either parent to take the child away until there is a court custody order being violated. The police will not arrest the other party for kidnapping until you demonstrate this.
Correct!

You signed a contract with them to explore for oil. They put up all the money to do exploration, you put in nothing.

Yet you still make yourself majority shareholder. Afterwards, you want to renege on the original agreement and force the minority guy to again build refineries when:

(a) it wasn't part of the original agreement
(b) you as the majority guy should pony up more of the money for any new ventures.
What part of your calculus account for the environmental disaster they leave in their wake? After all, osa ti o ba le gbemi ko fi mi sile bo ti bami

These companies are in Nigeria to make money, which is alright. But at times , that is not always in tandem with our national interest. So, before any of the these multinationals is allowed to operate in Nigeria, the first question should be; What is in it for us? If nothing, then they should kindly take their portimoto and go back to wherever they came from.
This is how it should be and this is how other countries operate. That said, thanks to OBJ, Ibori et al we are where we are to day. The multinationals protect their own interests any way they can, it is up to our leaders to protect ours. Time and again, they have proven themselves incapable and unwilling to do that.

The audacity to utter such statement in Asorock, during his farewell visit, says it all. Our leaders have sold us all in exchange for fat Swiss accounts.

UNILAG remains the BEST, 1st Department of Electrical and Electronic Enngineering in Nigeria University system, 1st in Computer Engineering, Petroleum and Gas Engineering etc, Unilag remains Nigeria's University of 1st choice, the difference is, they admit only good students and that makes the lecturing easier as you are expected to always be on point as a student, As a Unilag student, if someone from yankee or europe says a thing, you just look at him with SWAG and tell him/her the origin and history,,,because? why?you are simply updated, For the past years, unilag students projects have been winning international awards and are all placed on commercials, Guy, just get updated, try unilag, it gives you educational swags, read with swag becos u know what you are doing, If any uni says they are gud in ds areas, dia premium lecturers either finish from unilag or oversea,

TravelRe: Driving From Lagos To Abuja by ojogbontomoye: 8:15pm On Mar 02, 2012
@OP, Dont even try it if you dont know your way. Just because you did Gothenburg to Sweden doesnt mean you can do Lagos to Abuja. We dont have a well developed interstate highway in Nigeria like them Oyinbos. Security on the Lagos to Abuja road is absolutely nonexistent, and taking that route, for a noobie like you, is tantamount to risking the lives of you and your, most-likely average looking, GF for no reason.
