PoliticsLet's Not Turn APC To Another Monster. by ok01(op): 11:28pm On Apr 01, 2015
dear lovers of Nigeria

for our democracy to continue to bring out the best we crave for, we still need a strong opposition party.

in as much as we congratulate APC for their victory, we need to also encourage PDP to bounce back .

we don't need to wish PDP death, we need them as formidable opposition. otherwise, we may be creating another monster in APC and Nigeria may go another 16years or more without meaningful progress.

come to imagine if opposition was strong since 1999 where Nigeria would have been.

To this effect, since it seems our vote now count, i wish we scrutinize candidates on competence and track record not based on party.
PoliticsThe Fate Of A Neglected Northern by ok01(op): 6:13am On Mar 21, 2015
Gej said" I hope one day a product of the almagiri school will become president of Nigeria."

education is the greatest gift you can give to a child. in the first place, if past governments have paid close attention to education more especially in the North maybe Nigeria may not have experienced boko Haram.

Even if Buhari wins, the price will still go up. In fact for the good of Nigeria, subsidy has to go.
PoliticsRe: A Phd Question... by ok01: 5:29am On Feb 13, 2015
guys we may all have our preferred candidates but atimes we all need to comments on issues without sentiments.
as far as I m concerned both statments are correct. buhari answered what we we need to do ie kill corruption.
on the other hand, Gej answered how we need to do it. the best way to tackle corruption is strengthen all our systems so as to discourage our people from engaging in thieving.
and the key of them all is our electoral system that offer voice to the people.
also, that is y i agree with him I'm that we should refer to our past corrupt leaders as mere thieves. Maybe that will help us stop glorifying people that have enriched themselves with our public wealth.
