Jobs/Vacancies / Can You Write Nigerian Artists Profiles by Okason(m): 3:29am On Sep 18, 2009
I am looking for someone who is super familiar with the Nigerian Entertainment Industry and who has an above average writing skill. I am writing a large project about African entertainment and I need help with Nigerian artist’s profiles. I want someone who has good knowledge of Nigerian actors, authors and musicians. You do not have to know everything, you should be able to some research to complement your knowledge, but however you must cite every reference. If you are familiar with the term plagiarism then you are a good fit for this task. I am not looking for every artist however popular lesser known artists are included and I am looking for basic information about the artists.  I will provide you a basic template and the kind of information needed.

Please respond and let me know why you think you can perform this task. How much you will want to write 25, 50 and 100 artist’s profiles of between 500-1000 words and how long you think it will take you. Please quote prices in Naira, and if you are wondering, yes I am in the United States but do not worry on how you should be paid because you will be paid and do not spend a second trying to be fast, as I am a full blood Nigerian.

Please email me at okaatech@yahoo.com

Thank you,

TV/Movies / Re: Nigerian Movies In One Word? by Okason(m): 9:43pm On Apr 24, 2008
Well, there is no doubt that Nigerian Movies just like every other aspects of the Nigerian society can use some or a lot of improvements. You see there no one sector that can improve in isolation. You cannot have "good quality" movies in a society where quality is not encouraged. Movies are a form of entertainment and you cannot have a quality entertainment without a corresponding improvement in the quality of life.

However at the moment, I think that the Nigerian movie industry can use less background, less repetition and put their mostly predictive stories in one movie instead of Part 1,2,3  . .
