1.) Godfatherism: Igbos hate godfatherism. When Rochas Okorocha tried to become that in Imo, Imo people stood their ground and fought him to finish.

Uba family wantet to become that in Anambra, Anambra people fought them and defeated them.


Orji Uzo Kalu tried to become a godfather in Abia, Abia people fought against it.


Late Arthur Nzeribe tried to do that in Imo, Imo people in conjunction with Governor Achike Udenwa fought him and retired him even from Senate from where he went into oblivion till he died.


2.) Brazing Corruption: Igbos aren't Saints no doubt, but corrupt leaders or politicians don't last long in Igbo land. Some of the corrupt Igbo politicians still waxing big today are being supported by Hausa-Fulani controlled federal government to destabilize Igbo land and paint Igbos black. Without corrupt Nigerian federal government and its corrupt electoral body and decayed judicial system, all corrupt and failed Igbo politicians like Rochas, Kalu, Ikpeazu, Uzodinma, Theodore Orji, etc would have gone into oblivion since.


3.) Tribalism in leadership and politics: this is the number one reason Igbos refused to support Muhammadu Buhari even when he picked Igbo politicians as running mates.


Osinbajo is not a Saint just like most politicians but he is a detribalized man and that's why many Igbos still cherish and support him. Same applies to Olusegun Obasanjo, Atiku Abubakar, Ibrahim Babangida, etc.


But you see Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his ill mannered wife called Remi Tinubu, they are tribalists and do not deserve to taste any other leadership position beyond the one they forced themselves in Lagos.

Russian forces have lost roughly 45,000 km2 of territory since March 21 (the estimated date of Russian forces’ deepest advance into Ukraine), an area larger than Denmark,” reads the report by the US Institute for the Study of War.
At the same time, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu stated that Russian forces are slowing down the overall pace of their offensive operations in Ukraine while reaffirming that Russia’s objectives in the war have not changed.
“Shoigu's statement may also represent an attempt by the Russian MoD to set information conditions to explain and excuse the negligible gains Russian forces have made in Ukraine in the last six weeks,” the analysts explain.
The ISW also notes that Russian authorities continue to face partisan and internal challenges to the administration in the occupied territories.
Ukrainian forces continued to target Russian military assets and ground lines of communication in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, the report says.
Meanwhile, Russian proxy leadership is continuing efforts to oversee the legislative and administrative integration of occupied territories into Russian system.
