How did mud get into the radiator? I suspect the car had a faulty headgasket and was treated with a K-Seal (it looks like mud) or there is definitely an airlock in the cooling system. |
Faulty speed sensor; it also act as ABS sensor or a kaput ABS module may be the problem. Cheap Bluetooth Scanner it's not enough to read ABS module, transmission codes. They are good for emission related issues to an extent. ABS is useful for snow and frozen Road surfaces, I don't think it's much of a problem in Nigeria. Unless it's a performance car where the input are needed to make sure you don't have an accident for example, a sensor measures the steering angle if it detects the car is not in a direction of the steering input, it'll act on individual brakes to "help" ensure the car obey the steering input, only if you drive like a racer. |
There is definitely a leak in the AC circulation. Best way to check is to add UV dye during a refill, let the ac run for a while and use a UV detector to trace the leak. |
Is this a BMW? Typically common on them. I am a fully qualified mechanic based in the UK, with manufacturer dealership experience mainly in Ford, Mazda and BMW (all cars are mostly the same if you know one you know all). From my experience I suspect a crankshaft or camshaft position sensors. These faults depending on make of vehicles or circumstances triggering the fault which leads to the ECU shutting the vehicle down may not log a fault on the ECU. Even the most expensive scanner costing tens of thousands of pounds may not even pick it up. |
