Pls is Gtbank charging others C.O.T. I went there and they said there is nothing like C.O.T waiver for youwin accounts. I Know for a fact that zenith did not charge commission on transaction in previous editions. Is youwin3 different or i just have a non compliant bank.

Why is gtbank charging cot? Are the accounts no longer cot free? Just got alert for cot charges now

Mohammed, we were told today at the bootcamp that the second batch will be paid in one or two weeks. Second batch is about 300 people while there will be a third batch.

Scanned refs don't work, its originals only, i.e hardcopy They might reject it but confirm, from your Bank so DAT u don't go tru d stress and its rejected. Regards

Scanned refs are accepted depending on the bank. I presented one recently and it was accepted.

I noticed that alot of awardees actually peep into this forum just to get a clue of whats happening or solution to peculiar problems. I'll advice our youwin siblings to participate actively and not just to peep to see when alert will start coming. LOL!!!

I'm actually guilty as charged. I use the forum to check if there are new updates since i didn't sync my phone with my email.

Good evening house. I have read all the comments on account reference and in view of the risks analysed on this thread, am very sorry, I will NOT be able to sign reference for awardee again as I earlier promised. Again I am sorry. The posts on the risk on this thread made me to change my mind.

So sad Denn put unneccesary fear in people that were willing to help. Anyway the search continues.

A reference is a fall back for the bank in case there is a need to trace the account holder.

References don't expire. You might be called to produce the account holder in 20 years time... No kidding.

Some people might frown at my position but it is the hard truth.

I have seen the need to call up the referees in my few years of existence and believe me, it's a bitter pill.

Denn, puleeze. Rolling my eyes. I am an ex-banker. I know the routine. I got so many references for customers and in my eight years in the bank. There was no issue about the references.Its the norm to get references for people. Besides, im harmless.
