So guys. Be warned. White guys are out on a pay back to scam Nigerians now.

I saw a vacancy for a role on one of the job portals. I applied and the next day a white guy calls and interviews me. Tells me to check my mail regularly in case I am successful.The next day, they send me a job offer and tell me to go to a website to apply for the visa. I am to pay a certain amount for the processing.

I chatted someone on the help-desk of the site and the persons asks if the could call. They call and tell me that the company that gave me the job is reputable and has been doing lots of business with them.

See the job offer:

Dear ************************(my name).

I am pleased to extend the following job offer to you on behalf of Villa
Bros Construction. You have been selected as the best candidate for the
IT Infrastructure Manager position. Congratulations!
We believe that your knowledge, skills and experience would be an ideal
fit for our team. We hope you will enjoy your role and make a
significant contribution to the overall success of Villa Bros
Construction.
Please take the time to review our offer. It includes important details
about your compensation, benefits and the terms and conditions of your
anticipated employment with Villa Bros Construction.

Working hours
This is a full-time position requiring approximately 8 (eight) work
hours per day. Your regular weekly schedule will be from Monday to
Friday.

Compensation and Salary
Villa Bros Construction is offering you a salary of CAD 5280 per month.
You will be paid on a monthly basis.

Benefits
As an employee of Villa Bros Construction you will be eligible for
medical reimbursement, one-year free accommodation (not applicable for
family members), health and insurance plan, corporate mobile or travel
expenses and 30 days of paid vacation per year.

At the starting date, you will be asked to sign a contract that will be
valid for a period of three years from the date of joining and is
extendable after the completion of three years. In case of the
termination of employment by the employer on disciplinary grounds, no
notice period or compensation in lieu of the notice period is required
to be given.

You are required to join the company in a 3 months period of time after

After thorough analysis, we have come to the following conclusive points:

1. It is very suspicious to get a job offer abroad by merely speaking with the interviewer over the phone who gives you an ultimatum to start visa processing through a particular website – canadaloves.com
2. From the information we have gathered, all communications with them have only been via phone and email. There’s no known Nigerian representative. That’s a red flag.
3. The €79 charge for Visa processing seems to be a trap. When asked to pay, an applicant informed them that he already has a Canadian Visa and they immediately ended the call on him.
4. The 7-day ultimatum on visa processing is a form of pressure.
5. It’s only rational to ask to meet an applicant for proper recognition and documentation before visa processing. Prioritizing payment over everything is a strong indication of fraud.

A company in a developed country such as Canada that claims to have been in operation for a while, executing some of the biggest and most challenging projects in the country, including multi-billion dollar facilities should have had a website before 2019. A quick run of “Whois vbconstruct.com & also canadaloves.com” indicates that the website domain where both registered just last month.
They where both registered in the same week. Fishy huh?
They built 2 different well designed sites to perfect their scam.
Their “Employment Letter” contains juicy baits to lure you into parting with your money. Typical of scam mails.

Just a warning so my dear Nigerians wouldn't fall for this.
