Igbos are primarily in the informal sector (shops). They dont pay taxes whether to Lagos State or Nigeria. Hence you see that they contribute the least to the center.
Only Yorubas and SS pay majority of the taxes in Nigeria and would be the most affected. This is Tinubu's base. He needs to be very very careful.
