Find this so much interesting, am a graduate of agricultural engineering (processing option).i will agree totally that Nigeria factor is making us feel as of is a wrong thing to be an agric engineer, but in the actual fact our future is in our hands if the government are not living up to expectation we can do something on our own,because i wonder why somebody that did any agricultural related job should be looking for job all about in the first place should the government do it the way it should be i see no reason the government will not think of empowering any agricultural person that really want to practice, as an agricultural engineer we have 1000 and 1 ideal in our brain waiting for how to make them materialized . Since the government has neglect agriculture my advise is if you have any means to start up something , start up no matter how small its one day i will find your self where you actually belong. at least am an example of wht am talking about have started from somewhere am the MD OLAB AGRICULTURAL SUPPORT ENT. I was surprise to see some post on this trend where some ppl are abusing ppl organizing stuff like this i must say this , this is 1 of the reason why we have problem as a nation where we are always ok with every condition we find our self , challenging ur condition will bring solution in many instance .i don t think there is any family in this country without a member without a job so wht are will now saying. Kudos to the brain behind this initiative ppl should come up with idea that can help this ppl and help our nation as a whole like have seen on this post that dey should have a website where employer can call ppl for short time employment. i also want to suggest if dey can have a way in which HSE can be past into law in this country many graduate are now certified in HSE, many country of the world HSE is a must for any contractor to get any work from government or from private sector . This sector if put into law that every company should have Health safety and environment department it will employ many unemployed graduates.

I so much appreciate this forum , and I want to beg all of us to pls keep up this forum,am an SHE personnel working in Qatar presently, I think we should try as much as possible to make our government see that passing SHE into law in this country is a form of dealing with unemployment , unemployment is at high side government should pls pass HSEto law in outside country where HSE is been practise any contractor can not get any contract from either government or private sector without presenting there HSE plan and also present the qualification of their HSE. personnel. Government should mandate every industry to have an HSE department law should be made to back up this all industry should have at least 1 HSE officer to every 50 employee this is wht is obtainable in so many country of the word . With this so many unemployed graduate will get employed.
