Greenwood is a striker not a right winger. To get the best out of him we need to move centrally at some point. We can buy Sancho for the RW and move Greenwood centrally to be Cavani’s back up.

I have always liked Sancho right from the academy games to the Under-17 World Cup. I think he is the real real. Lewandowski, Aubameyang, and Gundogan were also at Dortmund, so everybody’s case is different.

For a team formed just 2 seasons ago, our womens team have been great. They finish 1 point outside the UWCL spots after just gaining promotion this season

They actually bottled the 3rd place position. Even though the team is quite new, we have lots of solid players that play from their national team. The league is pretty skewed in a way that a loss to any of them smaller team has a huge implication on final league position for the top 4 teams.

To show how solid the team is, United were actually beating WSL team comfortably when they were in the WSL2 league.

Martial's wages are not as high as you think. He is earning around 250K per week but that is if he achieves all bonuses. Man United contract and transfer fees are usually quoted/reported with all possible bonuses. I won't be surprised if Martial's basic wage is around 100K a week.

Pogba is reported to earn around 290K a week but when his contract was leaked, it showed that he earns a basic wage of 135K a week.

When matic entered, did you see how he dropped in-between bailly and lindelof when we were with the ball, lindelof and bailly now are the essential cover for them full back( this was used after lockdown mostly). Now matic legs are weak and a counter will leave him panting, Fred was used in that role, but he can't control the ball to save his life and he made mistakes upon mistakes which made ole also try tominay, yet it didn't work out as planned.
Hence the now double pivot,(NB: the defenders are also sissy though).
If we can get a good and fast DM, we won't need a double pivot as this DM will play the role matic played today.

I understand you bro, the DM-CB split system during buildup is also pretty solid but it requires a DM that is good on the ball like Matic and a CB partnership without a sissy like Lindelof. Ole is working with what he has at the moment and we are more solid having Fred and McT screen and mop up things in front of the CBs. Also, Fred's energy is quite important to our build up.

Yes! we can win trophies with the pivot. AWB have improved his attacking game and we are beginning to see what Ole is trying to do. We are basically attacking with 6 players, there is a need to ensure that the guys in the pivot can keep it simple and also mop up the midfield effectively.

This is where we have been getting it wrong in the past. Players like Martial that have not shown significant growth should be sold before they turn 26, package him and move him on for around £45M. They will suit on him until no one will be willing to pay good money for him.

Midfield of a solid DM behind Bruno and Pogba. Also trio of Greenwood (RW) Rashford (ST) and Sancho (LW) won't be bad at all.

We play McFred to ensure that we have enough defensive cover when both of our fullbacks move up field to join the attack. I don't think Ole will ever move away from playing two defensively solid players in the midfield pivot. As a pivot player in our current system all you need to do is mop up the midfield, cover for fullbacks and progress the ball. There is a reason why Shaw is creating so many chances.

Fred had a solid game today.
