This is not true! Our scouts have been doing a great job. We have been snapping up promising talents between the ages of 16 to 18 for about 2 years. The likes of Garnacho, Mejia, Jurado and Fernandez were brought in from Atletico, Barca and Madrid. We also got from France, Kambwala a highly rated 16 years old CB from Sochaux for 4M and of course Hannibal for about 10M.

Top prospects from England such as Hugil and Charlie McNeill joined the academy not long ago. Therefore our scouts have not been sleeping. It's difficult for young players coming in from South America to adapt far away from home.

Woodward was a wonderful commercial and marketing dude but a poor football man. He interfered in footballing matters and placed his buddy in charge of contract and transfer negotiations. That is why we have guys like Martial on over 200K per week and also renewing the contracts of Doctors such as Phil Jones.

He brought serious money and helped his benefactors (Glazer Family) saddle the club with debt of 500M and also take out about 1.5B in dividends and finance interest.

Not really, Greenwood is far deadly on the right, where he can go either side leaving the defender for dead than true the middle. Anyway we have got a player in our had. Greenwood, Saka and Foden are all top quality young players.

Ole has already given a hint on greenwood not playing the CF in years to come( except he is just being ole), if a dangerous CF is bought and an aggressive DM, next season na die oh, CB too of course.

We can go a season or 2 without spending massively on a CB. Tuanzebe and Mengi can improve a lot in 2 years. A 25 league goals a season striker and an aggressive solid DM will make us a true title contender.

I am so pissed we started the season poorly. Those 4 home defeats to Arsenal, Palace, Sheffield and Spurs messed up our chance of winning the league. I can't wrap my head around us getting 1 point from available 6 against Palace. I guess shiit got balanced out from our poor starts then ended up as victories against Westham, Southampton and Brighton away from home.

If Cavani leaves, then we should get one prolific forward and a back up striker not necessarily nearing the end of his career someone that is contented with a bench role...Just like Moise Kean at PSG, he is a bench player but whenever he is called up, he delivers...I'll give Martial one more season to compete with Rashford on the left wing...

With the kind of forwards we have in the academy and around the team, buying a young prolific CF might not be the best decision. Greenwood is a season away from taking full control of that position.

Hmmmm... I don't think so. Plus I am not sure he wants to play second fiddle to Bruno. Also, there is something weird with his style of play. He is always looking to play short passes and moving excessively, instead of carrying the ball and making attacking passes.

I believe they felt hard done by the ref and them useless Spurs players, which is closely similar to the first game at the beginning of the season. That must have inspired them to play out of their skin.
