They have better squads. Remeber that Under-18 and Under-23 is not about titles but about player development, hence there is no 1st team. Hence whenever rotation takes place they maintain their quality while ours drops. In particular we have very few good defenders in our entire youth set up.

For the Under-23s in terms of attacking quality for instance our best players are about the same level as City's players but once you go past our best 2-3 players they have the edge. Also their players are a bit older and more seasoned than ours. Our Under-23 defense has been a joke.

For the Under-18s our players are about as good as theirs IMO. Our recruitment for this under-18 was really good.

The Glazers have not spent a single penny on Man Utd. Man Utd was a debt free club in 2005 generating around £400m in revenue every season.

Man Utd was big enough to pay its overheads until the Glazers heaped a hefty debt on the club which has cost the club close to £2 billion. Imagine if that amount was spent on players instead of interests and repayments?

The Glazers don’t spend a dime on United, they take money from the club in dividends instead. This whole notion that the Glazers are some savior that rescued a dying club in 2005 needs to be put to bed.

At the senior level that versatility will be limited. That you can play a position at the youth level does not mean you can play it at the senior level. At the senior level there won't be so many opportunities for a boat load of youth players to each try out different positions. The coaching staff will just focus on the most likely success stories and forget the rest.

Mejbri has actually played CM,AM, LM quite well while as you rightly said Shoretire has played AM, LM,RM. Hansen-Aaroen can play CM, AM. Iqbal has played CM as well though he obviously is more comfortable as an AM. Forson is another one with potential who is really just an AM.

When have you ever watched this United team and think they have done everything they could? Never. They always leave you with this ‘they could have done more’ vibe.

If Fred isn’t listening to instruction, why is Ole playing him week in week out and lying to the media that he has been fully backed by Glazers?
