@siena  when the car engine knocked i just parked it and returned to france so i did not notice any thing expect the engine until when i send another engine to nigeria that was when the mechanics to my friend that the brain box is no more there,but i suspect maybe somebody most have removed it from where i parked it even my brother i gave the car key to denie that he did not removed it and that he did not gave the key to anybody but i dont trust him with is words,and my friend to me that it very hard to get the marching brain box except i buy the complet kits,including the key,but since am in france i want to know maybe there is still solutions to it without buying the complet kits or what did u thinks about it? as for the knocking of the engine i drove it through a pool of water in ajah area and the water pass through the air filter and it go straight to the engine block.

@ ikenna thank u very much, i will try and google it and find the part no of the ECU and is all the ECU of the model between 95-97 work with each other without any modifications?

it is 1996 model, manufactured in 20/02/1996, serial no vf388Lfy880006694.
When the engine knocked i removed the engine and packed it for me to buy another engine in france cos i base in france. infact is the car that have been using in france for long time without any problem.

@ikenna thanks, the mechanic said that somebody have removed it. it is stolen.
can any one of it type work with it without buying complete kits of the brain box with keys?

I thank u all, the brain box was removed in where i parked the car, or is it possible that the car did not have brain box? because i did not notice it. and the engine knocked when i drove it through waterloo.here the original engine picture below. i bought another in france to fix in it and after the mechanics told me that there no brain box in the car.

my brain box was removed where i parked my car 406 model 1996 and how much can i get a replacement?
or am i going to buy the complete kits of the brain box? if yes how much is the complete kits.
