Hydronium:
Pv panel finally came in. 555W Jinko. I can now see why many people prefer smaller panels, particularly in tall buildings. Thing is as heavy as lead. Getting it up a roof can be a serious hassle.

Also I realised that the previous one I ordered from Alaba was polycrystalline, and was not up to the slated 550w. It was a rip-off that couldn't have been more than 400W. Those ppl are crooks.

Now I'm wondering whether to still run it in parallel with the 555w or just stick to the 555w alone...

Stick to this alone bro
If U had asked , I'd have advised you do a higher watts panel like 600+ to get the best out of it... All the best

Skyrun 199lts is 99W

Reason why I love the freezer

That's awesome ... That means running power may just be a lil above 100 watts.

Sincerely speaking , I'm in love with gadgets that consume less power yet efficient and durable.
I have settled for a haier thermocool 146 litres.

Mine is rated 110 but consumes 125. You may need to do research on inverter freezers that are lower rated too.

Baba I ain't going for all those inverter shiiis
Many of them can't work like the regulars and once anything goes wrong , fixing them na guess work for all these technicians!
125 watts is not bad for a freezer of 200l plus
Thank you for the feedback....

D2 max battery is compatible with D2 and will give extra run time. What do you mean two 600+ watts panel? I’m not sure adding extra battery will increase the solar max input of D2 which is 500w.
I actually wish i went for the 590w or 600+ Jinko panel instead of the 555w but many people here thought it will be overloading and were already fixated on the 555w. I would have been getting 400-450w solar input peak time or even 500 on my D2.

For new users, if it’s within your budget and the specs of the solar panel meets the specs of your Delta 2, i’ll advise going for the 590w or 620w Jinko Solar panel. Don’t follow the 555w trend and make the same mistake most of us did!

Spot on !
If I had my ways too , I'd have gone for the 600+ watts panel ... Getting a D2 max extra battery for d2 seems to be an unreasonable idea. Fine you're going to get longer backups but charging will rely solely on grid to complement because to even charge ordinary D2 and it's extra battery with solar seems impossible except complemented with grid.

I usually do not support the idea of charging these devices using grid. It defeats the whole essence of the purpose. Grid can always come in as emergencies or when u find it extremely difficult to get rays.

Besides you're increasing your power consumption by charging with grid especially if you're on prepaid.

Lastly,

I wasn't talking about increasing the wattage input for D2 of course I know.

That's insane.

Is D2 max battery compatible with ordinary D2 huh

A 3 bedroom will comfortably run on D2 max with extra battery and two 600+ watts plus panels considering use of minimal every saving appliances huh

I am about advising someone to go for it

How on earth did I miss buying the extra battery at that amount !!!! That was an amazing deal guys !!!

I will be on the look out again! The D2 max deal too is juicy if you have the money. Remember it comes with higher wattage room from solar , it can accommodate upto 1000 watts from solar panel!

I keep seeing people buying jinko panel for it on the thread. What happen to the eco flow foldable panel been sold on Jumia , is it not good for it ? Or doesn’t charge well ? Considering you don’t have to mount it .
I don’t want to mount panel

Why would I buy a panel for 300k plus and it's not even upto 300 watts. That's outrageous folk! The only good side is the mobility part.

If I need to go camping or something better to charge full from home with grid or panel.

Phones › Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by oladele239(m): 1:42pm On Mar 17, 2025

Necksonnel:
Must it be mount ? Can’t I set it on ground like those ecoflow panels that are just set on ground

Lol
Those ones are foldable panels. If your panel is on the floor you won't get a good reception and also it will be prone to obstruction and shadow. Consider that rays of sun change direction.
It's also prone to damage easily. If you're looking at using the floor directly then consider the foldable movable ones , they're less expensive anyways and outrageously expensive.
