Harvesting at harvest maturity based on the targeted market been shoprite, they will turn even when not on the plant but not as fast as if when on the plant.sure you can construct locally but always consult against using bamboo but galvanized even if trying to save some cash from the imported designs#GreenHouseAgronomist#ConsultancyServices#Training#OpenFieldAgronomist#Grateful#Agriculture.
FIIRM:
Nice work here.
Why harvesting when is not ripe? How do you ripe it for the market?

Where is your farm or your office?
Is there ways to construct greenhouse locally? using bamboo or wood instead of imported irons.

Regards

Thanks sir, they are all sold as a single component. We have people selling the uv insect proof though but I don't have any idea on their price per sqm except the solary cover I got a quote for from one of my clients and it's 800/sqm and it's better than the uv polyethylene nylon.
RoyalPriesthuud:
Hi Oladiran, I'm impressed by your healthy looking products.
Can you give me a rough estimate of how much the greenhouse skeleton costs? I mean the outer coverings alone, all the others not included, not even the drip system. Thanks.

Not everyone can afford green house production due to the expensive nature but no matter how expensive the investment is, you will still break even on your ROI but don't misguide people. You are mixing everything up in the importance of green house production which I can't begin to list as they are just so much. Secondly I doubt if you are into agriculture at all else you will know your location determines if you can even grow tomatoes on open field when even those in the north are still struggling with it's production.have you ever visit a tomato farm in the north, you will come to realise that a large area of land going into thousands of area of land yield would have been realised with just few green houses hereby maximizing our limited land space.you don't just put seedlings in the ground my brother,so many things are involved. You don't grow tomatoes in rainy season on open field which is reason there is always scarcity due to fungi infections. The northern farmers chose to go into maize, millet and sorghum during these periods. The idea of green house production is to help reduce the pressure from the north been the sole producer of tomatoes but this has changed drastically with most of green house owners been from the south and just few from the north and can grow all year round.

One of the importance of green house farming could be in the empowerment of the youths. Direct message to our leaders, senators, reps, honourable. Empower the people in your states with modern farming systems and indirectly getting them one step closer in embracing agriculture and they will forever be grateful instead of claiming to be buying wheelbarrows and water kegs thinking you are doing something in your constituencies. #JustMyView#GrowGreen#FeedTheNation#ReduceDependencyOnNorthForTomatoes#AriseSouthWestLeaders#AriseSouthEastLeaders#AriseSouthSouthLeaders
