Kunlexic: why won't u hate it with passion when ur mental capacity can't enter the schl... Quite alright ,we know the school is great to some extent. It's however of great importance that yu stop having this kind of mentality. That's an illiterate thinking,I must confess. For the records, polytechnics are usually better than universities atimes. Being a student of OAU won't guarantee your future. All the best. |

Gerrard59: Start Google-ing about companies in your line of discipline. Small, medium big sized any one. Even if it needs you to leave your current place, you leave. Stay informed, because at this stage information is power. New media or old media format, all join. That's the spirit. God bless you. I'm on it already, may God give us victory. |

You're so on point. Had all these in mind though it wasn't structured like this. I'm in my finals too, currently on a 2.1. I'm finishing next month and I've been trying all my best to get an internship position which I'd love to start work immediately after my final paper early April because mobilization for service takes about a year in this University. I feel there's no time to waste time at all. Probably, I need anyone that can suggest companies or organizations I can forward my details to. @Marxxx, God bless you abundantly. |

@eremy, May God reward yu abundantly for yur efforts. The thing is I'd be finishing my degree program in political science from a Federal University this March. Mobilization takes place around November and I've decided to go on an internship program, preferably in Lagos, during the free period. I can work in any HR or administrative arm of any company. I need yu to suggest better companies with good working conditions as I wish to start forwarding my CV and cover letter in order to start work as early as April. Thanks a lot. |

Education › Re: Which Nigerian University Is This? by olaisababs(m): 4:22pm On Jan 14, 2016 |
semitunde: At the risk of starting an unwanted debate, let me situate this well; you said in essence that any school looking like the ops pic must have copied from funaab if it isn't funaab. The response was that funaab is a third generation university and your responder went on to list the first and second generation universities to show that funaab could only have copied from them and not the other way round.
You swerved from his response and zoned in on OAU why? If its the only place you visited, does that mean that funaab isn't third generation and hence, might have copied from the other listed schools?
If you had tried to explain why any other university copied from funaab, that would have been an appropriate reply.
Also you've been to OAU and you say because of the disorderliness, criminals MAY be hiding there. What is the correlation of that with the beauty of the pic posted? And what is the link between the seeming disorderliness ( of managennt process, of arrangement of trees, of scantiness or concentration of building structures, of the movement of students; etc choose any) with it being a criminal's hideout?
Elucidate. God bless you bro. I was about to start with my questions. P |

petengine: @ olaisababs the requirements for I.T in Total include: handwritten application stating; matric num, course of study, current year of study, duration of I.t, contact email, phone num. I.T letter from school, valid school ID a passport photograph. you will need a Total staff to referee you before your application is accepted if you are applying from pH office. also you don't need a referee to submit your application if you are applying from Lagos office. let me know if you have any difficulty applying, I can link you up with the HRM in charge of I.T students recruitment. hope this helps Thank yu so much sir. I went to submit those documents at their office in lagos this afternoon. I heard they're still going to shortlist students for the aptitude test itself. |

MosquitoLaps: How can one have this same opportunity, especially when the person is a graduate of a course like International Studies and Diplomacy, political science and international relations etc? I mean, we only get to hear about regional supranational organizations like ECOWAS, AU and UN. No internship program whatsoever. My dream is to be one of Nigeria's greatest diplomats ever, but d way tinz bi ehn? chai.
Can someone put me through, please? God bless you. Yu spoke my mind. I've been checking through the comments and all. Taking a look at their "aptitude test", I really doubt if it's going to favour those of us that belong to these disciplines. Still, one mustn't give up. |
