Like I said look at my profile. I am not new to Xiaomi.

Calling me a novice means you are certainly new here.

You can take these to the parent thread and confirm who is a novice.

At least Oga Gptech and co we educate you more.
I don't like the fact that you sound like I've insulted you and you technically called me a mediocre as I need education from one Gptech. Well, social media makes it easy for anyone to talk to unknown persons without the second thought of knowledge measurement.

It is well.

genius43:
But you know you are not talking to a novice in these things. Have fun
We agree to disagree, if you know all about Chinese version Xiaomi phones and the models I advertised, the cons I stated would have been enough for you plus, what I wrote isn't for a novice.

100% i use Chinese rom phones. They are better but you didn't state the network band issues. If one cares about that then one should ensure one is buying those with full bands. The 17 Pro Max & K90 Pro Max supports full bands.

What is RN?
All the cons has been stated, I mentioned nothing about Network Bands because we source for models that supports most Nigerian network Bands.

RN means Redmi Note.
PhonesRe: XIAOMI Discussion Thread [updated]* by OlaksEinstein(m): 8:50am On Nov 25, 2025
genius43:
Also tell people the cons. Examples are the limited Bands on Chinese versions especially the midrange, secondly Xiaomi's new restrictions to bootloader unlocking.

These are no longer the days of Redmi Note 3 to Redmi Note 7.

Secondly Esim has no business with the number of SIM Ports. Xiaomi decides on which model they want to put the feature on.
All the cons has been stated, I mentioned nothing about Network Bands because we source for models that supports Nigeria network Bands. If you decide to use Esim on global or EU ROM versions, you cannot use an eSIM alongside two physical SIM cards simultaneously; it can only support a total of two active SIMs, which can be either one eSIM and one physical SIM, or two physical SIMs. eSIM-compatible Redmi phones use Dual SIM Dual Standby to manage a single physical SIM and a single eSIM at the same time.

Also, there's no need for bootloader unlocking as the models I sell comes Preinstalled with Google Services, they don't need to play around the bootloader unlocking.

I sell Chinese version Xiaomi phones with Google Services Preinstalled, it's Google Certified with the ability to get rid (uninstall) of 96% of the Chinese apps it came with and yes, it supports English Language.

PROS
- Premium and Upgraded Hardware components (having used Xiaomi products for 10 years now, I can assure you I'm right by this and can provide you instances should you care to know)
- The most secured MIUI/HyperOS firmware with the least bloatware (Xiaomi has 4 major types of firmware for their mobile phones, namely: China, India, Europe and Global Firmware. It's not hard to understand why their version is the best smiley)
- A complete specification award bundle (In 2020 when Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 9 series, none of them is provisioned with 5G, at the time, I started using the Chinese version of Redmi Note 9 Pro which has 5G and the ordinary version of the Redmi Note 9 also has 5G... Fast forward to today, Redmi Note 14 and 14 Pro doesn't have 5G, only Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has 5G... It's same they did with Redmi Note 13 series)

CONS
- Doesn't support eSim (I don't know the technicality to this but it keeps surprising me that this happens but then, I think esim should only come with phones with just one SIM port, all Xiaomi phones comes with dual SIM ports.)
- Doesn't support Android Auto (if you own a smart car with Android Auto enabled and need to mirror your phone to your car play head for navigation and or play multimedia, it doesn't support it)
- Requires a savvy setup (to minimize bumping into Chinese characters to 2% on weekly usage, a proper setup had to be made, infact... You'll first need to activate Google services to be able to access Google Play Store and other Google apps but things are a lot easier when you set it up using Mi Mover i.e, use your old device to set it up the new one by moving your files and settings from your old phone to the new phone)

STOCKS AVAILABLE
RN 13 (5G, 8GB Ram, 128GB Rom) - ₦280,000
RN 13 Pro (5G, 8GB Ram, 256GB Rom) - ₦390,000
RN 15 Pro (5G, 8GB Ram, 256GB Rom) - ₦520,000

I have been using Chinese version Xiaomi phones since 2016 and everyone I've convinced to patronize it have no regret, I personally possess over 20 Xiaomi products to power my smart home, I have Xiaomi Smart TV, Xiaomi Smart Fan, BLE Gateway Speakers, Smart Band (watch), Smart Sockets, Smart Switched, Smart Bulbs, etc. I can supply and install these too on demand and in Chinese version. You're welcome to join me!

Serendipity2023:
I have been trying to get a new device capped at 750k price max

I went to Computer village Lagos yesterday and checked
Xiaomi 13t,
Xiaomi 14t;
Redmi note 13 pro,
Redmi Note 14.
The camera of Note 10 pro and Note 11 pro+ of 2021 beat all of them.

Walked from from Idowu Lane, to Olayeni to Kodeosho streets of computer village.

Spent over 4 hours on these.

People around there, even the sellers were shocked.

Xiaomi is now rubbish.💔

I disappointed.

I am disappointed.
Try their Chinese version, premium components and true software fidelity.

Look at the picture you posted. I believe it is a fake Jumia Facebook account. Official Jumia Facebook account is "Jumia - Nigeria's No. 1 online retailer".
