I want to open a dispute for a screen I bought because it started malfunctioning a few days after I received and installed it.

I completed the dispute description, but when I try to upload my video evidence, it keeps loading until it eventually says "Evidence submission timed out." At first, I thought the video file was too large. The maximum allowed video size is 500 MB, but my original video was only 111 MB. I even compressed it further to 60 MB, I also tried uploading a 8mb video just to test if it'll upload but I still get the same error. Only photos upload successfully, but photos are not enough to properly show the problem.

Can I use the AliExpress website instead of the app to open the dispute and upload the video evidence? My customer protection period will expire in a few days, so I need to resolve this as soon as possible.

I guess your internet speed is too slow for the video upload.

Yes, you can use the website on PC or activate "desktop version" of the site on your mobile browser. It should work.

Let's not forget, the volume of work on their hand. Was at their office some months back, and seeing much packages(the floor was literally filled with different bags). I asked one of the attendant, why this much package? She replied, that they also handle some last mile delivery for Sharp logistics.

The more reason they should employ more hands to do the job!
After all, they're being paid for the services. More responsibility should equally necessitate comensurate manpower! But their stinginess won't let them do the right thing.

I know quite a number of their workers and delivery agents who'd stopped working with them on the ground of poor pay.

The truth is, I've had countless number of ugly experiences with Speedaf since they started. That's why, I, personally prefer to pick my items from my local PO which is just a stone's throne to my residence.

The other day, they mis - routed my order to the Eastern part of the country. By the time the item was routed back to their LOS - Distribution centre, I had expected them to dispatch it to my location. Instead, they sent the parcel back to China. All mails sent to their head office in respect of the item were never replied to.

How does one explain a scenario where an item arrived their "DC-Lagos" on Wednesday 17/06 but as at the evening of Friday 19/06 (even as I type this), the item is yet to dispatch to their office in owner's location within the same state, considering the fact that the possibility of getting the item delivered on weekend is not certain? My experience with Speedaf right now!

Parcel arrived destination in less than 2 weeks, cleared customs in 48 hours, but Speedaf intends to add extral days (at least 7 days now) to prolong its delivery timeline. Too bad!!!

You've got to relax and look forward to 'Customs clearance completion' in respect of the item, which could take between 24 hrs and 1+ week.

Honestly, I don't mind paying a huge amount to get my packages from Nipost delivered to me.

I had the intention of setting up a gadget business, so I ordered about 40 phones/tablets since October/November/December and up till now, I haven't received any of them.

Sorry to say, you really gambled with the whole thing!

For gadgets of such quantity, why didn't you employ the service of a third-party shipper to help you deliver the parcel in Nigeria?

Avoid such a mistake next time.

If the item is under "customs clearance", then there's nothing you can do but wait till it's completed. It happens this way sometimes, expecially after a major holiday when there are backlog of orders to clear.

What's on the tracking is not abnormal!

Your item arrived Regional carrier facility on the 26, which was Tuesday. Then a 2-day holiday followed. This is what you need to consider because those in charge of your parcel may decide not to move it until next week when activies resume fully.

My experience with UBA wasn't that long. It took about 5 days hence the reason I specifically asked someone with experience with Access Bank.

Mine with Access took just 5 days.

Also, I think this issue of missing items for phones and tablets started late last year. I anever experienced it years until early this year

Unless you intend going for express deliveries like DHL, FedEx and etc, Nipost still remains Aliexpress' choice for last mile deliveries for New mobile phones and some brands of Tablets.

I remember taking delivery of Redmi note 13 in January 2025. The phone was deliverd through Nipost within 4wks of ordering.
Unfortunately, things seem to have gone worse in the country's postal system in recent times.

Your item is at "Onitsha Unity". The delivery agent couldn't deliver it yesterday, 16th . I guess he'll re-schedule the delivery for tomorrow, 18th. If not, you may have to visit speedaf office to pick your parcel.

I have logged a complaint but they said I will wait for 10 days that all my orders are in preparation to be ship.

You may have to expantiate on this: "but I found out all the products I ordered has been closed"

In the meantime, I'll say that you're getting yourself walked up over nothing! You need to relax and allow sellers process your items for shipping.

The moment you check out on order and your payment is confirmed by Aliexpress through notification on the app, leave the rest for them. The processing and shipping of orders could take up to 5 days or more.
You can see why you need to calm down and allow your items to ship!

Hello guys, so the vendor gave me a tracking number that starts with APO, I read somewhere that it will change later. Is that always the case? Or the AP number may remain unchanged till it gets to the country? Status has been showing "package left sorting center" for like a week plus. What's the usual TAT for change to next status?

At the point the parcel is out-bounded in sorting centre, the tracking number would've changed to NG... That's when Speedaf is in charge.

Don't try it. They will steal your phone. We don't know if it's Nipost or Custom staff doing that.

The phone I ordered came in with a different name and address but same tracking number.
When checked by Nipost at the delivery office, it was past questions they put inside.

What saved me was that I quickly went to the post office immediately I noticed it has gotten there on the tracking website I used.
If not, someone else would have collected the parcel and AliExpress will mark it as delivered and that may be all with your money.

Don't generalize it because that's not everybody's experience!

That you encountered difficulty in receiving your item doesn't mean others will experience same.
All my mobile phones from AliExpress had been delivered through Nipost, without any story of theft.

The only reason I won't encourage anyone to place a direct order for mobile phone at the moment bothers on the delay in delivery being experienced in recent times.

Guess he won some "currencies" (diamonds) convertible to chopping credit in one of the Aliexpress in-app games. Unfortunately, the game isn't meant for our region. Hence, he's been disallowed from making use of the credit.

First time I've experienced such a thing in my years of shopping!

Because of my location (Lagos), whenever I get "... Last miles delivery" update, my items normally arrive the local PO within 24 hours. That has been my experience until the current scenario.

Someone with contact in customs and immigration should be able to help us figure this out.

The matter weakens me, honestly. Even Covid - 19 era was not this bad! At least situation of things was understandable then: flight delays to prevent the spread of the virus infections. But the current delay seems to be Artificial.

You see the update: "hand over for last miles....?". That's where it always ends, and you could wait for eternity.
My item was in such a state for about 3 weeks until AliExpress itself suggested that I requested for a refund. It's terrible!

I don't think they have enough fund to sustain the move.

In fact, the combination of the offered discounts with AliExpress coupon codes, coupled with coin discounts, is quite "bad!" When Access introduced the offer in January, I got a smartwatch of $38 for $25 during the January Choice day. Interestingly , the same smarwatch went for $15 during the ongoing sales shortly before the offer was stopped. It's incredible!

The person in the screenshot actually received his item, yet decided to drop a 3 - star reviews for the store simply because he was yet to test the product.

What he should have done was to confirm receipt of the order immediately and then wait for 2 or more days before adding the reviews (by then, he'd have been through with the testing).

True, even with bad shipping experience, I don't give anything below 4 star, and add "Yet to receive the order" as comment.
Transferring your displeasure to someone who is not the source of your unpleasant experience is not logical.
Funny thing is some of them would not drop a review if they had received their order, but are quick to give a 1 star rating when things go south.

One thing I dislike about my country people!
Instead of expressing their annoyance to Aliexpress who's solely responsible for the logistics of their items, they transfer aggression to innocent sellers who have no ideas which carriers Aliexpress would use.
That's too bad! Nothing hurts those guys business like bad ratings, and the repercussions would be felt in the form of 'high shipping fee' or total stoppage of items shipment to our region.
