It is surprising that people are demanding "restructuring" from the president. Today they accuse him of using executive power, tomorrow they accuse him of not using it. I bet that 99.9 percent of those clamoring for "restructuring" don't know what it means to begin with. I wait on anyone who can reasonably present his /er argument.

I am here to correct an error made by one Pastor Suleman Johnson. I watched one of the videos where he spoke on divorce. He actually encouraged divorce and I cried in my heart.

I was so shocked when I watched the video. The most annoying part of it is the fact that he used the law court to support his teaching. In Christianity, it is very wrong to use the law as your basis of teaching. In Christianity, we use the Holy Bible as our basis of authority. So let us go to the Bible and correct the wrong teaching.

What has the Bible got to say concerning divorce? The first thing I would like you to know about marriage is that marriage is a covenant, a covenant between a man and his wife, and God confirms it. What I have just said now, can it be found in the Bible? Yes! In the book of Malachi 2:14, the Bible says that marriage is a covenant between you and the wife of your youth. And the Bible also says in that verse that the God is a witness in the covenant. In other words, when a man gets married, he has entered into a covenant with his wife and in that covenant, God is a witness. God confirms the covenant.

The next question is: Can a lie before a marriage dissolve the marriage covenant? The answer is no. The moment a person enters into a covenant, nothing can dissolve it. A covenant simply means an agreement. Once you enter into an agreement with someone and another person signs as a witness, then nothing can dissolve that covenant. So what I have just said, can it be found in the Bible? Yes!

In the book of Galatians 3:15, the Bible says, though it be but a man’s covenant yet if it be entered into and is confirmed, it can no longer be disannulled. The moment you enter into a covenant, it can no longer be dissolved. That is the simple truth.

The next question I would like to answer is this: is there any one that was deceived into marriage in the Bible? Let’s find out if someone like that exists and let’s find out whether the marriage was dissolved after the deceit or the marriage stayed. Somebody like that exists and his name was Jacob. Jacob was deceived into marrying Leah. He didn’t want to marry Leah. He hated Leah. He loved Rachael. He thought he was getting married to Rachael. He did not know it was Leah because Leah’s face was covered. In the morning, he realized it was Leah he got married to and there was nothing he could do about it because he was already married. He had already entered into the covenant, so he couldn’t do anything about it and the marriage stayed. It is very clear. In Christianity, we do not support people to divorce because the woman does not have a womb or because the man is impotent. That is very wrong. Rather than teaching them to divorce, it is better you pray for them. You should pray for the woman to have a new womb. You should pray for the impotent man to impregnate his wife. God is still in the business of performing miracles. He has not stopped performing miracles. Rather than asking people to divorce, pray for them and they will have their desired miracles. That is what Christianity is all about, especially if you are a man of God. You should pray for people to have their desired miracles rather than teaching them to divorce.

Do you know the extent of damage this wrong teaching has done to the kingdom, in the Christian community? Do you know how many people are planning to divorce now because of this wrong teaching?

I would like to state here that this is not a personal spite against Pastor Suleman Johnson. No! It is not at all. I don’t even know him personally. All I am doing is to correct the wrong teaching so that people are not led astray.

So why am I correcting it? Because it is a mandate from God. The next question is: Is this mandate in the Bible? Yes! It can be found in Book of 2 Timothy 4:2. In that scripture, the Bible says rebuke and correct wrong doctrines and that is exactly what I am doing. I also want to use this opportunity to sound a note of warning to others. Make sure y

Abdulkadir Erkahraman who is a Turkish diplomat has reacted to the reports that the country home of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was allegedly invaded by soldiers.

The controversial diplomat who was the first international emissary to visit Nnamdi Kanu in Nigeria in a post on his Facebook page on Sunday, September 10, said the Nigerian government is crossing the red line and wants to push Biafrans to arm struggle.

He wrote: “Nigerian army is crossing the red line. Army Invade Nnamdi Kanu’s Home, Kill 3 “The Nigerian government wants to PUSH Biafrans to arm struggle! Self defense is allowed in international law. We already sent the live video to Turkish Goverment TV TRT, CNN and local Tv Channels and international media.

“They can’t stop Biafra Nation with this kind of dirty games.Time to be together Biafra Nation. The Nigerian government wants to PUSH Biafrans to arm struggle! “Right now states that operatives of the Nigeria Army under Operation Python Dance II have invaded the home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s in Umuahia, Abia State.

According to Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the military had on Sunday, September 10, shot sporadically into the air through which 3 people have been reported dead and over 20 injured

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has vowed to fight corruption like never before if given the chance to preside over Nigeria’s affairs.
Atiku also challenged those he described as his self-righteous political enemies to either prove his alleged corrupt activities or keep quiet.
The APC chieftain said this during a facility tour of the new ultra-modern Yaliam Press Limited in Jabi area of Abuja on Monday.

This was contained in a statement by his Media Office in Abuja. Atiku was quoted as saying, “he would fight corruption like never before if he is given the opportunity to preside over the affairs of the country.”

The former Vice-President said, “It is sickening to continue to regurgitate allegations of corruption against me by people who have failed to come forward with a single shred of evidence of my misconduct while in office.”

He noted that people who lacked initiative, personal resourcefulness and ideas about wealth creation, “always assume that a man cannot build himself without stealing.”

“People who are bereft of ideas about entrepreneurial spirit always think that everyone else is a thief just like them,” he added. Atiku said it was morally offensive for people who despise honest labour to become judges in the courts of public opinion. The Waziri Adamawa explained that though he had not been convicted of corruption by any court in the land or elsewhere, his political enemies had been parading a fake morality to fool gullible Nigerians.

He was equally quoted as saying, “Despite previous desperate efforts to link me with corruption, the William Jefferson trial in the United States ended in 2009 without indicting me or linking me to corrupt activities.” Atiku recalled that he had pasted a reminder on his bed side during his training as a Customs officer that he would retire from any agency if he had not attained the headship of the place at the age of 40.

He said that he was only able to attain the position of a deputy director before his exit in 1989 to chart a career in business. Atiku told the management and members of staff of Yaliam Press that he retired from the Nigeria Customs Service with unblemished records. He challenged anybody who had evidence that he stole a kobo at the Customs or during his tenure as vice-president to confront him with evidence or file a petition against him.

Atiku said he did not become a Vice-President in 1999 as a pauper because he had been a successful investor throughout his retirement life. He said, “If Atiku is a thief merely because of his resourcefulness and successful investments, my political enemies should tell Nigerians the sources of their own stupendous wealth.”

Atiku charged the management and members of staff of the company to manifest the values of honesty, hard work and diligence. These attributes, he said, stood him in good stead during his years as a public servant and an entrepreneur. The former Vice-President said he was well equipped to fight corruption because of his vast experiences both in the public and private sectors and his ability to build a team capable of accomplishing the task.

“I will shock everyone because I believe that I will fight corruption like never before.”

The rearrested suspected killer of an eight year old girl, Ifeanyi Dike, who escaped from police custody in Port Harcourt, after his arrest in August on Monday stunned the media and the generality of the people when he claimed during his parade by the police that nobody aided and abetted his escape from police custody.

Though he claims to have escape unaided but many Nigerians are still curious as to how he escaped. There is a general belief that the police is culpable.

Should we believe this considering the antecedent of the Nigerian police and high profile crime case such as this?

Igbos are good business people, hausas are good farmers and traders, yorubas are obviously leading in terms of education and development.... There is no part of this country that has got nothing to offer. This call for secession is born out of hatred for the man in Aso rock which is understandable. But it is also understandable that igbos are not intelligent politicians. If you can't fight for your place in a country like Nigeria, your Biafra is dead before birth.
