2:2 that's second class lower degree.now there is stronger 2:2 which is a cgpa of 3:0 to 3:50 and weak 2:2 which is 2:90 and bellow.no higher institution will give you direct masters if you cgpa is bellow 3:0 you have to go for a pgd it's a rule by NUC so don't even think about going to a mushroom institution to do it you will regret it

Oga kuuljay: 3.50 is not lower division. Lower starts from 2.50-3.49. It is not in any NUC rule sir that u must ve a "strong" lower division to do Msc , It is the postgraduate school in these universities that decides on what to use.Authoritatively am telling you that PGD and MPhil will soon be a programme of the past in Nigeria universities. It is not a good programme as academics is concerned. U only find it in profit and IGR oriented universities.

OK sir. OAU,UI, FUTA and some universities have stop such programmes. It depends on the university board of studies sincerely it is just a way of generating internal revenues for the university. But please don't fall into such a class of qualification if u are interested in academics.

Then what 2.2 was the OP referring to? 2.2 as in second class lower division or 2.2 CGPA? We all know he can still further but if is 2.2 CG PA he can't start with MSC direct. Even the so called mushroom universities in naija will not give him admission for MSC. Little did u knw that most big universities don't ve PGD and MPhil class again except the so called mushroom universities. If it is 2.2 Second class lower then he should be the one to choose where to study.

The Youngman; an APC supporter wanted to shoot the Deputy Governor of the state in his home town; Ikere-Ekiti and want him to go Scot free? Anyways the was shot at the leg by deputy Governor orderly and he not not dead as widely reported in some quarters. He is being treated in the state specialist hospital in ikere.

It is true. The Youngman harassed the Deputy Gov of the state and he had a gun on him. He was shot at the leg by the orderly of d deputy Governor . He is currently receiving treatment in the state hospital in the town.

(B.Tech Applied Geophysics, Msc Exploration Geophysics). My brother don't get discourage with the situation of things in this country. Geosciences is a very promising field.
