President Tinubu has approved the South-East investment initiative aimed at boosting industrial growth in the region.

President Tinubu has given his executive approval for the creation of the South-East Investment Company (SEIC). This specialized investment entity will function under the South East Development Commission (SEDC) with the aim of harnessing private capital, boosting regional competitiveness, and accelerating industrial development in the South-East region.

The President's choice comes after receiving the SEDC's report detailing their performance over the past 100 days, along with an official request to establish a subsidiary dedicated solely to securing long-term funding and spearheading transformative economic initiatives in the area.

The SEIC is designed to function as an independently governed investment entity, driven by private-sector leadership, and not reliant on yearly government budgets. Its strategic approach is inspired by the legacy of the Eastern Nigeria Development Corporation (ENDC), which, during Dr. Michael Okpara's leadership, led industrial transformation in the former Eastern Region.

The establishment of SEIC signifies a renewed focus on long-term economic planning that leverages regional strengths, fosters innovation, and encourages collaboration with the private sector.

During a brief ceremony held at the State House, President Tinubu handed over the Certificate of Incorporation for the SEIC to the South East Development Commission. The event was attended by the Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, the Managing Director/CEO of the SEDC, Mr. Mark Okoye, and members of the Commission's Executive Management Team.

Me: Mr. President, continue to carry out every interventions you deemed necessary to induce enterprise and development across the nation. It does not matter what naysayers say, history will judge you rightly.

B.A.T. is no longer the governor of Lagos State but the president of Nigeria. Many us were not in Lagos at that time (when he was a governor) and hence do not care about his purported past success. Whatever magic he did in Lagos state in terms of developmental strides and improving the lives of his constituency should be replicated in Nigeria for all to see. It's already two years since he assumed office as the president.

Yes he spent money within the PDP building his personal structures,
Using huge funds to bribe his way to install 4 consecutive party Chairmen.

Spending Rivers money to produce Tambuwal for 2019 and himself for 2023.

Don't get it twisted!!

1. The 5 people u mentioned above criticized Buhari a million times more than Wike did.(There are even more which I can't remember now)

2. Wike spent Rivers money to build his personal structures, install party Chairmen and produce presidential candidates.
That's not how you spend money on a party.

The party had many ways of generating funds;; party dues, sale of funds,, even all governors were funding especially the South South governors.

For every 1 day that Wike sustained the PDP, hundreds died of hunger and sickness in his home state of Rivers State.

Without PDP, Wike would have died of hunger, poverty and starvation since 1999.
Pdp gave him their ticket to contest for obio akpor LGA chairmanship position.
Pdp gave him his first ministerial position under GEJ, PDP still gave him their ticket to contest the gubernatorial position in 2015 election even when it wasn't the turn of his senatorial district.
Wike has benefitted more from pdp than PDP benefits from him.
Pdp gives him full control of the mandate given to him.
But whatever Wike does in pdp, he do it for selfish reasons...
