My wife only spend her income on herself, her family, relatives. I still take care of her own personal needs. This also applies to many of my married friends and family members. I have friends in America too that cater for their family up to 75% despite having a working class wife. It is like a norm for most Igbo men anyway, except the man is seriously struggling financially. We Igbo men derive joy and pride in being the sole provider in our marriage.
