See the data i posted earlier , more rich people are in southwest compare to east. These people are fond of givingthemselves false hope lol
if you know about data capture ,then you know that per capita in a population size will give you an higher number .That is what you have just quoted .now use the nigerian size and see how many made it to the forbes list

Have you personally wanted to buy and nobody sold to you? There's a big private school in Enugu owned by a Yoruba man, what happened? Did he steal it? There's a farm in Awka owned by Yoruba man, did he steal it or was it dashed to him?

I hate having this sort of discussion with people that are steeped in their bigotry!
i have lived in owerri before and i know my experience ,so its better to avoid such

Why do you want to be honoured where you have no impact? Or you want me to name my street Ola when you have no single property there or value to the community?

For you to see many streets named after an Igbo person in different states of Nigeria ought to tell you something if you are wise enough.
the reason why you leave your places for other places is because of lack of space and lack of land ,they reason why you fight over land is because their are not enough lands ,you dont make policies that are investor friendly ,the crime rate is very high ,you are land locked and you have bad and occultic government setup.

The major reason most Igbo businessmen are not investing in Southeast is because doing business is more difficult in the area than any other region, the Managing Director of FIT Consult Ltd, Chief Loretta Aniagolu, has said.

Aniagolu, who addressed architects from the Enugu State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and student architects from tertiary institutions in Enugu, who were on an education tour of HELIU Estate in Enugu town, said investing in such businesses as real estates and large scale industries attracted hiccups.

She said a combination of state governments’ insensitive financial charges and communities’ constant disturbances and demands discouraged investors.

Aniagolu, however, admitted that Enugu State and Southeast had the highest return on investments, with the highest rate appreciation rate of property in the country.

She said: “Nobody knows why it’s like that, but I think it has to do with the sentiments of the Igbo in owning property in Enugu.

-

“So you find out that the minimum appreciation rate of property in Enugu is 100 per cent annually.

“For instance, these bungalows – when we built them , we sold them for N8.5milliom for three bedrooms. But today, people are selling them for N20million. I can’t even believe it, but that’s the reality and it’s shocking because the houses were just sold in 2019. So that tells you something about the appreciation rate in this place. Not even Lagos has this kind of high appreciation rate.

The government approves the name of the streets ,you dont sell and and not friendly and very hostile,i sent you an interview with an igbo biusiness lady ,you didnot read it an i will now post the interview for you to understand your own people.even yoruba women that marry igbo men are chased away after the dismiss of the man ,is that right ,so many stories like that ,they want to collect the houses and make them homeless.

If you start a business in Oyo how fast can you grow, they don't even have any resources that is beneficial to Nigeria at this time, maybe Oyo used to be great when I wasn't born but the Oyo wey dey now no get anything. The only thing I see in Oyo is University of Ibadan.
Abia ranks around 5 to 6 in the most developed states in Nigeria and that's well above Oyo. Pls mind yourself with Oyo

Try and visit Aba, Awka, Nnewi, Onitsha, Enugu Industrial layout, etc and then you will understand better.

Most of you think SE is as underdeveloped as Oyo or Osun.

Please plan a visit no need writing much. You will be shocked. Thats all I can say, visit any of the cities in SE I mentioned. Try it
OYO state is the whole of south east ,you cannot compare the 2 and has a high internally generated revenue than your leading states

Listen, I have lots of Yoruba friends and colleagues in what I do.

These chaps hardly invest outside Lagos state. Some have never visited their Yoruba home state, most claim there are witches in their villages, evil people this and that, so they claim Lagos as their home state whereas many are from Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo, why? Because a typical average Yoruba have a tiny, narrow mind, he or she hardly sees beyond Yoruba land. Aside Lagos, the next places they consider for investment is UK, US. They have narrow mind when it comes to business investment and expansion and their cowardice keeps them narrowed.

They only go to already made cities and countries made by daring men who challenge the statusquo.

That's why in Nigeria, they hardly invest outside Lagos or Ibadan.

Go to PH, Eket, Warri, Yorubas working in oil firms there hardly buy land or build solid mansions despite making their income from those cities, why? Because an average Yoruba man is cowardly, tribalistic, have narrow mind and always feel that the only good place in Nigeria is Lagos or Ibadan. Yet they will have the gut to challenge Igbos who are liberal minded, open minded and daring. Igbos who are fearless, will go to their enemy house and dare him, and even build and live in his house to his face without fear.

Yoruba suppose de respect Igbos not hating on them. You know all this.

This is the first igbo man to call Lagos a yorubaland a no mans land in history ,is name is jaja wachuku ,all because of what ?jealousy

Jaja Anucha Wachuku's father, King Josaiah Ndubuisi Wachuku, was the Eze, Paramount Chief, Servant Leader and Head of all Ngwa of the then Aba Division of Eastern Nigeria. Jaja's mother, Queen Rebecca Ngwanchiwa Wachuku (née Nwaogwugwu), was a pioneer women's rights advocate and humane royal land-owner.

His apical ancestor Mgbawa had moved from Umulolo, Eziama Ntigha, in Nigeria's present-day Abia State, in about the last quarter of the 17th century to settle in their present Nbawsi homeland. His paternal grandfather Wachuku Ogbaraegbe, a distinguished statesman and Merchant Prince, was involved in the palm oil trade of that time with King Jaja of Opobo. It was in memory of the friendship, partnership and association of the Wachuku family with King Jaja of Opobo that he was named Jaja. His second name, Anucha, in full in the Igbo language, is Anucha mba agaa n'ama ha, meaning "after celebrating victory over a people, you parade through their town or village main square.
