Good evening everyone, please I need update I’m currently in Uk 🇬🇧 for Master Degree program duration of 1yrs and I’ wish to visit Canadian in Second semester , please I want to assure which documents I need to gather before applying and I want to confirm if £5,000 or £6,000 is enough as prof of fund just 2 week visiting because I didn’t have money in my naira account

I did biometric on 25th August priority TLS ikeja but i later realized 28th is Holiday so the time frame start counting on 29th Tuesday

Today make it exactly 16days since I did my biometric. Application in DMC since that day till now.

No NSF mail.

Sent paid mail on Sunday and paid call yesterday morning yet nothing nothing.

Plz who have experience the same cos me I'm tired o.... if na deny make dem deny the application...atleast make I get rest of mind.

The final statement is that he would escalate it now and if there is anything they would give him a call back but if in 2days no decision he can call them back with my ticket ID

I thank God for this. I started this whole journey in June, though I already have my documents ready by then. It has been a stressful journey. I wrote an emergency English test because of discrepancies in my WAEC result; mistakes in my names and date of birth, my school arranged for a test and I passed.
Then my POF matured on July 27 but I waited for CAS till August 20. Thank God for everything.

Biometrics: 24th August (priority)
Moved to DMC 24th August
Received at DMC 25th August
Moved to VAC 1st Sept
Received at VAC 1st Sept
Received BRP mail as successful 1st Sept at almost midnight

Documents:
POF from FirstBank
I added reference letter from them.
2 Work refs from where I worked
I graduated since 2016,
NYSC cert.
IOM TB cert
Recommendation from Uni
BSC cert and transcripts
Passport page
CAS
Note: I updated my current address with Firstbank so that it shows on my POF, and also I used the FirstBank branch closer to me so their stamp shows I it’s within where I live. I don’t know if it helped but just sharing it to help those with fear of using FirstBank.
