Politics / Lessons From Buhari's Emergence by olateey(m): 4:37pm On Apr 03, 2015
The incipience of the proposed "New Nigeria" can only be said to have started after the emergence of the Apc presidential candidate as the new president of our dear country Nigeria. The sparky Northener rode to the top amidst several tense-soaked occurrences that culminated in his favour at whole. Enroute this, political rants, prophecies, games obfuscated the absolute forecast of the outcome. Temperaments and their civilized characters of the potential figures played thrilling roles at nailing the citizens interest on their board; and these are lessons to be learned.
* jega's temperament (strong-will)- Though, some strong-wills are baseless and non-perceptive. But some are intriguing and quite thrilling if demonstrated at good capacity. Jega's strong-wills against incubent power's disapproval of the card reader at last paid off. He explicitly cleared the air on the efficacies of the technology and kept quite; leaving his critics to be picked by dust. And at the closing, his analytical, explicit intellect and mildness were enough for the impetuous former minister, Godsday Orubebe. Even though, he couldnt provide the cards for half of the population, his meekiness at presenting his cases; and a good imperialist of this country he would be if encouraged on this path.
*Buhari's recilience and probity- This former millitary head of state's obliquys has done him more favour than expected; exposing his deeds in the second republic. The harsh millitary ruler, emerged winner after four trials. He should have relinquished and retire his ambition to lead the country, if not the traits of success in him. An average human, would have given up and retire his reticence; instead he kept humming the interest to expiate the country's economy. His honesty and probitiveness while he was head of state also pulled more crowd after a strong detest of the outgoing government.
*Nigerians still want oneness- If buhari could pull about 400k votes in the less populated south-south region (the home of GEJ) as they canvas against the ruling of their son, and were ready to accomodate a strange but reliable figure to welcome "change"; and jonathan could pull over 1.3million votes in north western part against their son. Though, stints of tribalism still appears in the result, but some inhibitions to it are beginning to heat up.
*Political and Religious Prophecies- "Half the world is composed of people who have something to say and can't and the other half who have nothing to say and keep on saying it". Your words as a politician or a clergy alerts the muscles of your pitfalls while your fans get daunted at the awful outcome of them. It always serves pleasing even when you know what to say, you hide your tongue at the cheek; or else u may be a waste of skin.
*Men are men, women are women- The outgoing gov gave a lot to the women, even more than they should have. Women, in our native continent are known to always be burdened with household activities while hsbnds provide shelter and take decisions. Dame demasculinized GEJ, representing at national assignments and produced blemishes that quotaly drenched the hope of reelection. Dame wears d pant in their home; *Accept defeat to fight again.

Sports / Manu Garba; A Genius by olateey(m): 12:34pm On Mar 23, 2015
There is nothing that best describe modern managers better than accrued successes over limited time. Steven keshi and few other indigenous coaches in the country have over the years shown a bit of this at international grounds; but not all of them were able to survive the challenges aftermath their success. keshi's fall out with the country's football administration has been a great nut-edge defacing his exaltation after afcon 2013 success. Keshi confederations cup's team wobbled out of the great tornament all because of injuries and his cynicism; leaving out some good players. His inability to manage his professionals was another fish bone in his throat. Siasia also had a great time at youth levels, but he couldnt manage the pressure of Nigerians as well.
Manu Garba, despite late withdraw of top players that contributed immensely to his success two years ago, he hunted out more quality players that could deliver at that stage, even in the absence of kelechi iheanacho, nwakali and the likes. He couldnt play too well as he was formerly knwn, but he got the deciserd result; putting a great smile on the faces of his country men who are deeply in fear over the forthcoming election. I have heard jose mourinho said, sometimes you don't have the best legs to execute your tasks, but as a good manager you should obtain your result; and this, the 54 year old man delivered.

Sports / French League Unveil Epl Strength by olateey(m): 3:11pm On Mar 18, 2015
The elimination of both chelsea fc and Arsenal fc to two league one clubs has shown the maximality of the Epl. Chelsea have been routeless since the beginning of this season winning the capital one cup and standing the best chance of winning the league. with the quality of dexterities that has been displayed prior over to the champions league draw have put the club in a vintage position over the french counterpart. But this potency was completely out- thought by cohesion of the french club over the two legs. while Arsenal suffered a massive defeat on their home ground to monaco fc, they went ahead and gave a good account of themselves in france ,but the home result was too agape to prevent their elimination. only manchester city remains with a leg out in the competition after a home defeat to barcelona fc of spain. This has now unveil for the strenght routelessness of these teams at continental level.
