CelebritiesL.A.X: I Once Received Advice From Wizkid Not To Hurry Into Owning A Record Labe by olatmaq(op): 5:09am On Feb 18, 2025
The Nigerian artist L.A.X has disclosed that Wizkid cautioned him against launching his record label too soon.Following the release of the popular song “Caro,” which featured Wizkid, L.A.X secured a contract with Starboy Entertainment in 2013. But after a few years, he quit the label to launch Rasaki, his own band.
Rumors of a falling out between L.A.X and Wizkid were circulating at the time.

However, in a recent interview on the WithChude podcast, the singer clarified the situation. He revealed that he had discussed his plans with Wizkid during a trip to Malaysia.

He claimed that when he expressed his wish to launch his own label to Wizkid, the “Made In Lagos” hitmaker advised him against acting hastily.

According to L.A.X, Wizkid suggested that in order to prevent the public from assuming that they were at odds, he should release a couple more songs under both Rasaki and Starboy Entertainment.

“I knew I had to start over when I made the decision to build. I believed that I had to make all of the choices by myself. Nobody was going to tell me no. I just called Wiz. We performed in Malaysia,” he remarked.

And I said to him, “My boss, I really want to do this alone,” as we sat down. I believe I want to launch my own label. He replied ‘If you go now and say you want to start your label. It is not that I do not want you to go but the world is going to say me and you battled.

Therefore, let’s avoid doing things that way. Let’s release a few more tracks under the label. Then begin discussing your label.

For this reason, StarBoy Razaki is now featured in the majority of videos. For the next three songs or so, we did it. You may now depart. They have observed us both cooperating, even as you are doing your own thing.”

L.A.X, whose real name is Damilola Rasak Afolabi, has enjoyed a successful music career, with hits like ‘Jaye,’ ‘Caro,’ ‘Ole,’ and ‘Go Low’.

CelebritiesDjimon Hounsou Talks About Hollywood Racism And Financial Difficulties by olatmaq(op): 5:45pm On Jan 11, 2025
Djimon Hounsou Talks About Hollywood Racism and Financial Difficulties
BenineseDespite working in the film industry for more than 20 years, American actor Djimon Hounsou, who is renowned for his strong performances in movies like Gladiator and Blood Diamond, has recently talked about his continuous financial difficulties.
Hounsou stated that he still faces major financial difficulties, which he attributes to being underpaid in Hollywood, in an interview on CNN’s African Voices Changemakers.

“I’m still having trouble earning a living. Even after more than 20 years in the film industry, two Oscar nominations, and other successful productions, I continue to face financial difficulties. Despite having a long career, Hounsou expressed his discontent by saying, “I’m definitely underpaid.”

Hounsou talked about his encounters with racism in Hollywood as well. He recalled that despite winning a Golden Globe, he was not nominated for an Academy Award. “They disregarded me for the Oscars because they believed that I had just stepped off the boat and onto the streets, even though I was nominated for the Golden Globe,” he stated. “Even though I was able to accomplish that, they simply didn’t think I was a respectable actor.”

Hounsou underlined that although the industry is placing more emphasis on diversity, real equality and inclusivity are still a long way off. There is still more work to be done on this mental notion of diversity. He said, “Systemic racism won’t change like that anytime soon.”

Hounsou has acted in a number of well-known movies throughout the years, such as Furious 7, Amistad, Constantine, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Aquaman. Although he has a devoted following and received critical acclaim for his performances, his open admissions underscore the continued difficulties that actors of color in Hollywood confront.

Sports“excited To Play With Osimhen, Lookman, And Others.” Arokodare, A Fiery Striker by olatmaq(op): 7:34pm On Jan 09, 2025
Tolu Arokodare, a Super Eagles hopeful, has stated how excited he is about the possibility of playing with Nigerian football players like Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen.

The former Amiens SC player is currently playing at a high level in the Jupiler Pro League. He recently scored two goals against Royal Antwerp, bringing his total to 14 goals in 23 games and 13 goals in 20 domestic league games.
In the meantime, Arokodare is eager to apply this success to the Super Eagles national team, where he aims to wear the Eagles’ colors with the CAF Player of the Year winners in 2023 and 2024.

Arokodare considers being called up by the Super Eagles
With 13 goals for KRC Genk, Arokodare is presently the Nigerian with the most goals in the top 10 leagues in the world. Alex Iwobi has five goals, Victor Boniface has six, Lookman has nine, and Osimhen has ten.

Under the direction of new head coach Eric Chelle, the Super Eagles will play Rwanda and Zimbabwe in an attempt to qualify for the 2026 World Cup at all costs.

Given Arokodare’s outstanding statistics, it is recommended that he be considered for a call-up to the national squad if the former FC Koln forward maintains this excellent play.
However, Arokodare disclosed in an interview with Soccernet.ng that he has not yet received a call from a representative of the Nigeria Football Federation. He is nevertheless upbeat, saying that if he keeps working hard, the chance will ultimately present itself.

“I haven’t heard from anyone yet. I believe if I work hard enough and keep on the course I am now, it [Super Eagles call-up] will definitely come,” Arokodare said.

Super Eagles, Osimhen, and Lookman
Arokodare, his countryman, has recently received praise from Victor Osimhen for his outstanding efforts with KRC Genk this season. The forward for Napoli, who has been keeping a careful eye on Arokodare’s comeback in Belgium, praised the big striker for his impressive development.

Lookman has maintained his impressive play on the international front, winning the African Player of the Year title and placing 14th in the Ballon d’Or rankings to garner international acclaim.

Arokodare has called these two Super Eagles players his favorites and has shown his respect for them.
If he is invited to play for the national team, he is excited to take the field alongside Osimhen, Lookman, and other Super Eagles players,

Osimhen [Victor]! I am very excited to play with him. Additionally, the Super Eagles of Nigeria appear to be a close-knit group of players, including [Ademola] Lookman. It will be pleasant to connect with them and get into that atmosphere. He went on.

Arokodare desires more
Arokodare, who scored 15 goals in a successful season the previous year, thinks he can still go more.

As he explains the driving force for his outstanding achievements this season, the Super Eagles-eligible attacker is committed to improving even further.

“Wanting to improve.” Even though my 15 goals from the previous season weren’t bad, I’m my own worst critic and I know I can do better. The 24-year-old striker stated.

In an attempt to increase their lead at the top of the Belgian league rankings, Genk will welcome Oud-Heverlee Leuven at the Cegeka Arena on Saturday. A standout for Thorsten Fink’s forces, Arokodare will be hoping to go on where he left off.

I felt down. Every night I woke up and thought. She was the one who saved me after that.

PoliticsMNJTF Commander: Nigerian Troops Killed 310 Terrorists In The Lake Chad Region. by olatmaq(op): 6:50pm On Jan 09, 2025
MNJTF Commander: Nigerian troops killed 310 terrorists in the Lake Chad region.

According to the Multinational Joint Task Force, or MNJTF, it has destroyed vital logistical facilities in the Lake Chad region and killed 310 terrorists.

The terrorists were killed by task force troops during Operation Lake Sanity 2, a significant attack intended to quell the local insurrection.

During the Operation Lake Sanity 2 Medal Parade on Wednesday at the MNJTF Headquarters in Farcha, N’Djamena, Chad, Force Commander Maj.-Gen. Ibrahim Salau made this statement.

He said that the MNJTF had achieved victories and assisted in the repatriation of more than 30,000 internally displaced people and refugees, allowing them to return to their towns and resume regular lives.

According to Mr. Salau, the operation, which took place between April 23 and July 22, 2024, killed 310 terrorists, dismantled important terrorists’ logistical hubs, and detained 160 informants and logistic suppliers.

Furthermore, more than 800 terrorists and their families turned themselves in, suggesting that support for terrorism is waning.

Although recognizing the efforts of Amnifakat, Gamma Aiki, Yankin Tafki 1 and 2, and Lake Sanity 2, Salau credited the accomplishment to the assistance of the Lake Chad Basin Development Commission and the contributing nations.

Six powerful task forces united against terrorism were formed by cooperation between ground forces and air units from Cameroon, Chad, and Nigeria. The operation’s success was also aided by the Nigerien Republic’s limited air support, he said.

“Compensation ceremonies have been held in Cameroon and Nigeria for fallen and injured soldiers in the past, and Sector 2 in Chad will have a similar ceremony to honor their memories,” he said.

Mr. Salau claims that the purpose of the celebration in Chad is to honor the soldiers’ sacrifices during Operation Lake Sanity 2, in which a number of soldiers were killed and wounded.

Mr. Salau praised development partners for helping to improve security and stability in the region.

Issaka Malloua Djamous, the minister of defense for Chad, reaffirmed the country’s dedication to regional peace and stability.

Operation Lake Sannity, according to Mr. Djamous, was crucial in the battle against Boko Haram since it destroyed terrorists’ bases, averting many dangers.

He emphasized the need for improved human and material capabilities and ordered troops to increase their alertness against changing terrorist tactics.
In addition to calling for greater regional collaboration and member state commitment, the minister praised the European Union and other partners for their training and equipment contributions.

PoliticsThe Methodist Archbishop Says Lagos Deserves A Muslim Governor After 12 Years Of by olatmaq(op): 1:45pm On Dec 14, 2024
The Archbishop of the Methodist Church of Nigeria (Lagos), Most Reverend Isaac Ayo Olawuyi, has stated that Lagos State deserves a Muslim governor after being governed by Christian leaders for the past few years.
Speaking at the Lagos State House of Assembly’s 22nd annual Thanksgiving ceremony, Olawuyi predicted that Christians will have held the top spot in the state for 12 years by 2027.
Eromosele Ebhomele, the Chief Press Secretary to Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, revealed the clergyman’s comment in a statement.

The Methodist Church Archbishop said in the statement that people should be tolerant of other religions.

According to him, the Lagos State populace would choose a Muslim governor for the state in 2027.

Lagos State has been governed by four governors since Nigeria transitioned to democracy in 1999. Bola Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola served two terms, each lasting four years, from 1999 to 2015. The two governors were Muslims.
Akinwunmi Ambode took office in 2015 and served until 2019, when he turned over the Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Sanwo-Olu and Ambode are both Christians.

PoliticsAiyedatiwa: Court Drama As NNPP Rejects Ondo Candidate by olatmaq(op): 9:45am On Dec 12, 2024
The Federal High Court in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, witnessed a minor drama when the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) distanced itself from the lawsuit that its candidate, Gbenga Edema, had brought to contest the candidacies of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his running mate, Dr. Olaiyide Adelami.

The drama started when Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa brought a letter from the party’s national legal adviser, Mr. Robert Hon, to the court’s notice. In it, he distanced the party from the lawsuit involving the primary that resulted in Aiyedatiwa being the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.

The National Legal Adviser’s office urged the court to remove the name of NNPP from the lawsuit in a document headed “Letter of Instructions” that was sent to Adelanke Akinrata on December 10, 2024.
“The above captioned subject matter refers,” the letter stated. We are writing to express our interest in Suit No. FHC/AK/CS/103/2024, in which we were allegedly the second plaintiff and sued the defendants.

“You have been expressly directed to remove the New Nigeria Peoples’ Party (NNPP), the second plaintiff, from the lawsuit.

“Neither the first plaintiff nor anybody else received instructions from the second plaintiff to bring a lawsuit against the defendants on its behalf. For more information, please get in touch with the National Legal Adviser’s office.
As a result, Adegboruwa requested that the plaintiffs’ attorney abandon the lawsuit so that the court might strike it out. He stated that the court’s time should not be wasted on the case.

Counsel for the defendants, represented by Dr. Remi Olatubora, Kola Olawoye, and Mr. Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, responded to the incident by saying that it was disgraceful for a litigant to suit under a party’s name without providing enough consultation. He stated that the court ought to strike out the case and withdraw it.

Speaking on behalf of others, Olatubora claimed that the fact that the NNPP’s letter was taken to court by the party’s state chairman, Mr. Peter Olagookun, demonstrated the legitimacy of the party’s stance on the APC primary.

Chief Charles Edosomwan, INEC’s attorney, requested that the court dismiss the lawsuit on the grounds that it lacked jurisdiction and that the plaintiffs lacked standing to bring it.
Abayomi Ojo, Edema’s attorney, responded by stating that the candidate was unaware of the letter and would want time to review its contents.

He claimed that the letter was in court for the first time and asked the court to adjourn so he could reply.

Recall that NNPP candidate Edema has requested that the court order INEC to revoke the nomination and cancel the publication of the names of All Progressives Congress (APC) Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy as candidates.

In the lawsuit, Edema requested that the court interpret whether Section 15 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 Constitution (as amended) applied to the APC candidates’ nominations.

But the NNPP, through its National Legal Adviser, Mr. Hon, said the party did not authorize any suit against the candidature of Governor Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy. He asked the name of the party be withdrawn from the suit.

A son of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Bello has spoken out about rumors that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided his home in Kaduna.

Bello refuted the accusations in a statement issued on Wednesday, calling them “false” and a deliberate effort to divert attention from his public work.

According to the rumors, which have been making the rounds on social media, the EFCC found N700 billion in cash, N1 trillion in drugs, and $800 million in Bello’s Kaduna home. But according to Bello, the accusations are an insult to the values of justice and equity in addition to being slanderous.

Additionally, Bello used the occasion to refute rumors that he doesn’t own a property in Kaduna, stating that his family’s residence is in fact in Unguwar Sarki. Bello promised his constituents in his message that he would keep providing the people of Kaduna North with high-quality, candid, and honest representation.

“My constituents that I represent are aware of what would occur if I were endowed with such figures,” he stated.

“I promise those who are funding these naive attacks that we will keep helping the people and enjoying how it irritates them; adding high-quality, candid, and honest representation is here to stay in Kaduna North.”

“The attempt to link him to illegal activities through baseless accusations was not only defamatory but also an affront to the principles of justice and fairness, as evidenced by the use of fake news to sway public opinion and sow discord.”

SportsMikel Arteta Acknowledges The Most Recent Injury To Arsenal In A “big Risk” Stat by olatmaq(op): 10:40am On Dec 05, 2024
After defeating Manchester United, the Gunners will travel to Fulham on Sunday.
Although playing Gabriel against Manchester United would have been a “big risk,” Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he hopes the Brazilian and fellow defender Riccardo Calafiori will return for Sunday’s trip to Fulham.
Both Gabriel and Calafiori were left off of Arsenal’s roster for Wednesday night’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Emirates Stadium.

Due to a problem, Gabriel had to leave the Gunners’ victories over Sporting and West Ham last week.

At West Ham last weekend, Calafiori, who just recovered from a knee ailment, was also substituted out before the hour.
https://tmaqtalk.com/mikel-arteta-acknowledges-the-most-recent-injury-to-arsenal-in-a-big-risk-statement/
When Arsenal plays their next game on Sunday against Fulham, Arteta hopes to welcome the two back.

Arteta stated, “Gabi felt something against West Ham, so it was a big risk for him to play today [against Manchester United].” Riccardo may also be available on Sunday; we’ll have to wait and see how he responds.

Arteta looked to Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior in the absence of Calafiori and Gabriel.

Together, the two helped Arsenal maintain a clean sheet and reduced the seven-point gap between them and Liverpool, the Premier League leaders.
Arteta praised Jakub and Alex, saying, “I think it’s Jakub’s first start in a long time. You have to be thrown against this kind of opposition and this kind of front players.”
The same is true for Alex; they performed incredibly well. We are really happy for the team because they prepared so hard, had the chance, and seized it with both hands.

PoliticsUnmasking The Alleged Beneficiary: The Story Behind Abuja’s 753 Forfeited Duplex by olatmaq(op): 9:21am On Dec 03, 2024
In a tale that intertwines politics, wealth, and justice, a recent revelation about 753 duplexes forfeited to Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has captivated the nation. The properties, located in Abuja, are alleged to have links to powerful figures, fueling debates about corruption, transparency, and accountability. But who really owns these opulent assets, and what does this saga signify for Nigeria’s fight against corruption?

These luxurious duplexes, nestled in Abuja’s prime locations, are estimated to be worth billions of naira. Allegedly constructed under questionable circumstances, they have become symbols of unexplained wealth. Their forfeiture to the EFCC marked a significant step in anti-corruption efforts, yet left many questioning the identities behind the facades of these properties.

Prominent political figures have been drawn into the narrative, with accusations from within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Recently, APC chieftain Dr. Cairo Ojougboh made bold claims about the true ownership of these properties. According to him, a former governor and key political player is implicated, reigniting discussions about the systemic misuse of power to accumulate wealth.

The EFCC’s confiscation of these properties represents a high-profile victory in its anti-corruption mandate. However, it also underscores the challenges the agency faces in pursuing politically exposed persons (PEPs). From navigating legal hurdles to public skepticism, the EFCC’s journey in this case highlights the complexity of tackling corruption in Nigeria.

The case takes a legal turn with debates around immunity for certain political figures. According to Nigerian law, sitting governors enjoy immunity from prosecution, potentially delaying accountability. Observers argue that this provision enables individuals to shield themselves from scrutiny while in office, exacerbating public distrust in governance.

The forfeiture of these properties has elicited mixed reactions. While anti-corruption advocates celebrate it as a win, others view it as a drop in the ocean of Nigeria’s pervasive corruption. Meanwhile, ordinary Nigerians continue to grapple with economic hardships, prompting calls for more impactful reforms beyond high-profile seizures.

The story of Abuja’s 753 duplexes is a microcosm of larger issues plaguing Nigeria’s governance and justice system. While the EFCC’s actions signal progress, they also reveal the need for systemic reforms to prevent abuse of power. As the nation watches closely, the outcome of this case could either bolster confidence in anti-corruption efforts or reinforce the notion that the rich and powerful remain untouchable.

Politics“breaking Barriers: Nigerian Governors Take Bold Steps Toward Implementing New M by olatmaq(op): 1:36pm On Dec 02, 2024
The promise of a higher minimum wage has always been a focal point in the quest for improved worker welfare. In recent developments, Nigerian state governors have taken monumental strides toward implementing the new minimum wage of ₦70,000, ushering in a wave of optimism among civil servants nationwide. But how are these policies playing out across states, and what challenges remain? Let’s dive into the details shaping this pivotal moment for Nigeria’s workforce.

The decision to raise the minimum wage has been celebrated by workers, many of whom face significant economic hardships. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State made headlines by becoming the first to implement the policy, marking a moment of jubilation for civil servants in his state. Similarly, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has pledged immediate action, showcasing a proactive stance to alleviate the rising cost of living. This development underscores the growing recognition of workers’ needs across the country.

A remarkable list of governors has emerged, championing this initiative. From Lagos State’s Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who emphasized worker welfare long before the bill’s passage, to Osun State’s Ademola Adeleke, leaders are reaffirming commitments to better governance. In Edo State, Godwin Obaseki’s proactive approach sets a standard for states grappling with similar challenges. These examples highlight the significance of strong political will in transforming promises into tangible outcomes.

Despite the enthusiasm, many states face significant budgetary constraints. Governors have acknowledged the daunting task of balancing their financial books while ensuring timely payment of the higher wage. States like Gombe and Ogun have highlighted the need for sustainable strategies, such as blocking revenue leakages and implementing reforms to boost internally generated revenue. This financial balancing act will ultimately determine the policy’s success.

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has been instrumental in advocating for fair wages, acting as a bridge between workers and government. Their persistent lobbying has not only ensured the passage of the minimum wage bill but also continues to hold state governments accountable. However, the NLC’s vigilance is crucial as implementation progresses to prevent discrepancies in payment and to address potential grievances.

While progress is evident, challenges persist in ensuring the policy’s long-term success. Factors such as inflation, the cost of governance, and economic diversification will play pivotal roles in determining how this policy impacts workers’ quality of life. Moreover, fostering collaboration between federal and state governments could provide a roadmap for navigating these complexities and expanding the reach of economic reforms.

The implementation of the ₦70,000 minimum wage represents a defining moment for Nigerian civil servants and policymakers alike. As governors take bold steps to fulfill their commitments, they also face the task of crafting innovative solutions to sustain these efforts. With workers’ welfare now at the forefront, this initiative may pave the way for a more equitable future for Nigeria’s labor force. However, vigilance and collaboration remain key to achieving lasting success.

PoliticsJUST IN: Marketers Reveals Petrol Price At Port Harcourt Refinery by olatmaq(op): 1:43pm On Nov 29, 2024
The price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as gasoline, from the freshly reopened Port Harcourt Refinery has been made public by oil marketers.

The Port Harcourt refinery will charge N1,030 per litre for its petrol, according to the Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN).

Following weeks of conjecture over the refinery’s gasoline price, this information was finally revealed. Although the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) had previously declared that the refinery was operating at maximum efficiency, the cost of the facility’s gasoline was not made public.

PETROAN spokesperson Joseph Obele said in a statement Thursday night that the NNPC informed the organization that the price of a liter of premium motor spirit at the renovated refinery is N1,030. Obele went on to say that the PMS price at the Port Harcourt refinery was formally announced by NNPC Retail Ltd. and that reservations and requests could be made via the product request webpage.

The strategic pricing team at PETROAN is presently analyzing the best price for its members, the company further disclosed. “We are open to patronizing all of the refineries in Nigeria,” Obele said.

In order to provide Nigerians with a joyous Yuletide celebration, the organization also encouraged NNPC Retail to further lower the price.

“We state emphatically that the old Port Harcourt refinery is functional and producing refined petroleum products at the moment,” Obele said in response to allegations that the refinery was not operating as advertised. The refinery is now running at 70% of its installed capacity, he continued, with plans to ramp up to 90%.

PoliticsHospital Fraud: Conflict Between Okpebholo And Obaseki by olatmaq(op): 9:08am On Nov 28, 2024
The alleged swindle at the Stella Obasanjo Hospital, owned by the Edo government and located on Sapele Road in Benin, has led to a verbal spat between Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo and his predecessor, Godwin Obaseki.

Okpebholo called Obaseki’s recent inauguration of Stella Obasanjo Hospital a hoax, claiming that development was still going on and that the previous administration had not purchased the necessary equipment before hastily declaring the project finished.

He promised to fix the hospital’s structural flaws and move it to better serve the public.

According to his chief press secretary, Fred Itua, Okpebholo made the remarks during a Tuesday night hospital facility inspection with Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa and Health Commissioner Dr. Cyril Adams-Oshiomhole, who is the son of Senator Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Okpebholo stated: “It is evident from examining the amenities at Stella Obasanjo Hospital that the Obaseki-led administration did nothing there; they only painted the structure and fixed the air conditioners to give the impression that the facility was finished. What Obaseki and the PDP government done is unknown to me.

SportsMarcus Rashford Could Be A Bold January Transfer Target For PSG by olatmaq(op): 3:24am On Nov 25, 2024
Few rumors cause as much agitation in the constantly shifting world of football transfers as this one: Marcus Rashford, the star forward for Manchester United, is apparently a target for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The possible transfer, which was alluded to in January, would upend European football and lead to discussions about club tactics, ambition, and loyalty. However, what does this signify for PSG, Manchester United, and Rashford? Let’s explore this intriguing option in more detail.

More than just a Manchester United player, Marcus Rashford represents the team’s tradition of developing domestic talent. Rashford, who made his debut in the first team in 2016, has developed into one of England’s most dependable attackers after showing promise as a teenager.

His versatility, accurate finishing, and lightning-fast pace have made him an invaluable member of both the club and the national team. Beyond the field, however, Rashford has distinguished himself as a humanitarian by promoting social problems such as child food poverty. For United fans, he represents more than just goals—he’s the heartbeat of a team that has often struggled for consistency in recent years.

Rashford is a fantastic fit for PSG, a team known for high-profile signings and star-studded lineups, and their strategy for dominating the world. PSG has been adjusting its roster under new manager Luis Enrique since Lionel Messi left for Inter Miami and Neymar joined Al-Hilal.

A change toward a more sustainable and balanced future is indicated by the club’s recent emphasis on young, talented players like Manuel Ugarte and Randal Kolo Muani. Rashford may give PSG the attacking firepower and adaptability they need to win Ligue 1 and the coveted UEFA Champions League trophy.

Rashford views the possibility of joining PSG as an opportunity to advance his career rather than merely taking on a new challenge. It may be difficult to resist the draw of playing with Kylian Mbappé, winning big trophies, and controlling the Parc des Princes.

But quitting Manchester United, a team he has played for since he was a young boy, would be a difficult decision on both an emotional and professional one. Rashford has unmatched fan devotion at Old Trafford and plays a significant role in the club’s long-term strategy. Does he stay loyal to the Red Devils, or does he chase glory in Paris?

PSG has never hesitated to make large expenditures, but in recent years, Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules have become more stringent. Rashford is presently worth over €100 million, so the French powerhouses would need to do a lot of financial wrangling.

The Red Devils are in a stronger negotiating position after Rashford signed a new deal with Manchester United that will last until 2028. To entice Rashford, PSG would need to present him with a rich personal agreement in addition to an alluring transfer money. Could this be the January transfer window’s biggest deal?

Rashford’s departure in the middle of the season would be devastating for Manchester United. Erik ten Hag relies heavily on the striker to lead, assist, and score goals in his tactical plans.

However, given United’s financial difficulties and patchy play, a sizable offer from PSG might compel the club to make a decision. Although selling Rashford might provide the money needed to rehabilitate other parts of the team, it also runs the danger of offending supporters who are already fed up with the team’s recent failures.

The intriguing thought of Marcus Rashford wearing the PSG uniform raises more questions than it does answers. It might be the coup that solidifies PSG’s place among Europe’s elite. It’s an opportunity for Rashford to reshape his legacy. It’s also a test of Manchester United’s determination to hold onto their best player.

All eyes will be on Manchester and Paris as January draws near. If PSG decides to make a move, will Rashford bid Paris farewell? There’s no denying that the transfer window has become much more intriguing.

CelebritiesAccording To Okey Bakassi, Polygamy Is The Ideal Type Of Marriage In Africa. by olatmaq(op): 2:43am On Nov 25, 2024
According to renowned Nigerian comedian and actor Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule, better known by his stage name Okey Bakassi, monogamy is failing in the region and polygamy is a better type of marriage for Africans.
In an interview with the Honest Bunch Podcast, Bakassi aired his opinions, saying that many monogamous couples are only acting content.

“Forget all the lip service we pay to polygamy here,” he remarked. I continue to believe that polygamy is the ideal type of African marriage. Monogamy isn’t effective.

“We’re acting. What distinguishes monogamy from polygamy, then? You can marry two persons at the same time, according to polygamy. According to monogamy, you must let go of one in order to marry them both at the same time. What if you’re unwilling to part with one?

Similarly, it has been controversially asserted by Nollywood legend Stephen Alajemba, better known by his stage name Uwaezuoke, that it is wicked to have fewer than three spouses.

Men who have one or two marriages run the risk of being poisoned by their spouses, he cautioned.

Alajemba clarified in an interview with Ugwumba TV that “having one or two wives is a sin.” However, you will be sinless if you marry three or four people. Your life is in danger if you just have one wife. Security is responsible for the director’s safety. Two wives will plot to poison you if you have two.

However, if you have three or more wives, you will only be supporting them and they will all be on their own. You will alternate using their bedrooms and meals.
