I suggested it last year that this Thread was not necessary. But it was like my wahala was too much. We could have continued the previous one.

What I see to it is that, when people search for threads, articles and news pertaining to admission, they often include the year. Most of us that are here today didn't come here directly, we were redirected one way or the other coz of the input in the search engine.

If last year's thread is kept alive instead of this year's, most people won't be here, I won't be here; coz I won't be searching for funaab 2014/2015 instead of 2015/2016.

So I believe a new thread should be created for a new season. Why dwell in the past?

Immediately after the post Utme, they started dealing with just jambites leaving d.e applications untouched. Now they have started compiling the list of d.e applicants. Afterwards, LIST is released.

Since we all are here to learn, i think i should share this. I asked a question a while ago and i emphasized that if people ain't sure of the answer, they shouldnt quote me coz im scared already....lol.

The reason im in this mess is because i thought we can't use awaiting result for O'levels with direct entry...well im wrong! It is allowed, i got this from a significant person in the senate yesterday and it was confirmed at d jamb office.

So pls, in d future, if u got a bro, sis, friend or enemy that might wanna do d same thing i did, tell 'em awaiting result is allowed.

One more thing i learnt at the senate was that, while i was at this man's office yesterday explaining my issue, he told me that they are yet to commence compilation on D.E aspirants. He showed me a file and he said "this are letters to the VC and these people will definitely be admitted regardless of their composites. My child, your grades are good, but it doesn't really matter, what u need is people and God's grace".....I dropped my jaw.

So everyone who has done well, pls don't cross ur fingers. Pull all the strings u can, and if u can't pls and pls PRAY!, prayers go a long that u can't even imagine. We all need it, even Mr 91%....lol. God's grace shey pataki in our lives not just in getting admitted alone. Our efforts won't be in vain in Jesus name (Insha Allah). Amen.

There are ways one can answer questions respectfully without deeply hurting the other party. Yeah the truth is painful, but isomerzm, u don't have to be silly. You could av simply said that "hey buddy, its a tight spot, a lot of people have better grades, but no lele sha....anything fit happen, but no really put mind, u can start looking for a contingency plan".

Based on Assumption, For dis year i tink dey may do it like dis. Olevel 20%, pume 30% and g.p 50%. D post ume wil b multiplied by 0.3. It wil den b added up together. The calculation wil den b.
G.p = 50/5 multiply by 4.06 =40.6
0 level 12 multiply by 2 divided by 3 =8
Post d.e exam 55 multiply by 0.3 = 16.5. Then the Total of my g.p + olevel + post d.e result = 40.6+8+16.5 = 65.1wich wil b my composite. Note dis calculation is based on my own assumption, so i need u guyz to bring out ur own opinion on dis calculation.

Your O'level is 12, did u get 12 through the normal way of calculating it? mine is 20 when i did it the way they explained earlier. And my cgpa is over 4, i think yours is over 5, do u know how to convert?

I also chose UI as second choice. The grandma at d admission office is my friend; she told me that UI doesnt consider second choice for d.e cox they only select few and they'll first consider IJMB n others b4 d.e. She just told me to pray hard concerning the school i choose as first choice.

I'm a d.e aspirant, aspiring for Elect/elect. I have 72% in my post utme. My issue is that, the o'level i put on funaab's website is different from the one i used on jamb's. The reason being that; last year wen i did d.e to UI, its because my first o'level ain't good enough, gotta be As and Bs, that's why i wasnt given admission. So to avoid d same thing, i wrote another waec this year....... But, my result ain't coming out on time and jamb d.e's form is gonna close, since there ain't no awaiting result for d.e, i used the first one.

I thought I'd combine the two results on funaab's portal, but when i did, the cumulative points of the two is worse compared to using just the first result. The second one is very okay so i used it alone.

Now, my fear is that, won't funaab think im a fraud since the results don't match?

O'level is the most important thing. O'level is 60% while ND or equivalent is 40%. Ur o'level must be very good.
