LNG Nigeria Limited is organizing an overseas postgraduate scholarship programme which is aimed at supporting the emergence of individual experts within the oil and gas sector in Nigeria. The scholarship scheme is part of NLNG's Community Development Programme which aims at improving the long-term socio-economic development in it's host communities and Nigeria at large.

The scheme will commence in September 2013, 10 students will be supported with the scholarships to pursue various studies in Engineering, Geosciences, Environmental studies, Mgt. Sciences, IT, Law, & Medcine at Masters Level in leading universities in UK.
70% of the Scholarship places will go for students from NLNG Host Communities and Rivers State while 30% of the scholarship will go to students from other parts of Nigeria.

Requirements:
*Potential benefciary must possess a 2nd Class Upper Degree in relevant field of study
*Must have completed NYSC Programme.

The scholarship when awarded
will cover full tuition fees, a monthly stipend towards living expenses and one return ticket from Nigeria to United Kingdom.

The boby responsible for administering the scholarship programme is the British Council Nigeria and is the main point of contact for the scheme.

Am solidly behind you. If anybody can create a forum via which we will kick against this unhuman attitude from govt to PHCN customers I'll be fully active in there.
Every govt thinks of how to make things easy for her citizens, Nigeria only thinks of how investors(foreigners) will benefit. What a useless govt we have here.
I have sent series of mails to channels tv, I've not seen their reaction.
It's time youths of this country should start using any form of media, forum or whatever within their reach to kick against worthless practices by our govt.
